Slightly Mad Studio's opening landmark game, Project Cars, has been delayed on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. The racing genre has been graced with a plethora of wonderful titles this year, from the newly released Forza Horizon 2, Driveclub, and Mario Kart 8, to upcoming titles like The Crew. Sadly IGN.com reports that one hit racing game due for this holiday has been pushed back, Project Cars. Slightly Mad Studio's, the developers of the game, stated how the reason for the delay is, among more time to polish, the plethora of racing games coming out and the brisk competition. The delay was originally confirmed a while ago to be strictly for Europe and Australasia, but it seems it's now worldwide. Head of the studio, Ian Bell, had this to say,“Whilst a tough decision to make, the change in release date allows the game the greatest chance of success and visibility, and the opportunity to polish the game even further. . .We’re eager for you all to see what we’ve been working on in just a few months.” The game will launch on March 20th, 2015 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with an unknown date for the Wii U.
