Hello everyone, I am ROYSTAGE V2 and I present you: Raymundo (download link at the bottom) Raymundo is my best forged map, it's also symmetric and supports all gametypes! (except multi-team & Grifball). You can basically walk through the bases or walk on top of them. Red base: contains 3 ways to enter the top floor, has a initial 60 sec needler spawn, a 90 sec respawn timed Warthog and a Ghost with a 90 sec respawn timer. Blue base: contains 3 ways to enter top floor and also has a initial 60 sec needler spawn, a 90 sec respawn timed Warthog and Ghost. On the left side of blue base I tried to recreate the rock structure on the right side of red base, it has a initial 30 sec plasma grenade x2 spawn and with Dominion it also brings forerunner weapon ordnances, a turret, shields and a Vehicle Pad Warthog. The middle of the map contains a few little bridges and are quite important to control and also has a initial 180 sec Rocket Launcher spawn. The mid-right side of blue base: contains 'Dominion only' turret, UNSC weapon ordnances, cover, shields and 2 Vehicle Pad Ghosts, without Dominion it has a Machine Gun Turret and cover barriers. The mid right side of red base: contains 'Dominion only' turret, banshee and shields. With- and without Dominion it has a initial 180 sec Sniper Rifle spawn. And without Dominion it has a Mantis with a 180 sec respawn timer. This piece of the map contains: a (Dominion only) turret, shields, Covenant weapon drops and a Vehicle Pad Warthog. With- and without Dominion it also has a 30 sec plasma grenade x2 initial weapon drop. And here you see the middle of the map from a different view: Each base has in front of it a shotgun random ordnance drop: In the middle of the map under the bridge you can also find this random weapon drop: And on the other side of the middle of the map you find this random weapon drop: I started forging this map when I entered a contest on Forgecafe. I ended 3rd place with this map which was great because I never expected that when I started to forge this map. I haven't been able to test the map but because it finished 3rd in the contest I assume that the gameplay is fine. After I entered the contest I had to download a map which already had some things in it you were not allowed to change anything from. It looked like this with only the 5x5 block flat and the window things. LAKE PLACID Download Link [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sT816F0i1s[/media] Lake Placid is set within the ravine on "Ravine." The idea is this. The entire middle area of the map is a lake. Along the cliff sides there are many different paths that you can take to get yourself up and away from the waters edge. The reason that you want to do this is because most of the flood's re-spawn points are deep below the "surface" of the lake. They will continue to float up and attack from beneath your feet as long as you are swimming around. They also have thruster packs. So they can shoot themselves through the "water" very quickly. If you are worried that this map might be unbalanced, or that there may be some impregnable hold out locations, don't be. I have spent countless days and weeks making sure that there are many different paths to every single spot on the map. It has been tested many times. Many of the routes out of the lake are easier, or exclusively possible for the flood. (due to their increased jump height) Elevating yourself will help, but you are never going to be anywhere near Safe. Especially if you are dealing with some quick thinking Flood... I have had a ton of fun testing out this map. It really creates the fear of having something deadly swimming around beneath your feet, and the rush of having to pull yourself out onto the dock seconds before the alligator, shark, or whatever else gets a hold of your ankle. If you are a fan of Jaws, Lake Placid, Anaconda, or any other water related horror movies, you are going to like this map.

I have been working on an asymmetric Dominion map named Kostal Kombat. There are 4 Bases (The map layout allows 4 bases without the gameplay suffering). Each base has a trait zone around it that gives a different effect, Alpha gives Speed boost, Bravo gives Damage boost, Charlie gives Overshields, and Delta gives an enhanced radar. The map is highly asymmetric with a lot of verticality, and will support up to 8v8 matches (5v5 or 6v6 is recommended). As you can see from the screenshots, the map has several routes to each base, as well as plenty of opportunities for risk/reward. The map is still in the works, but I will soon be posting a download link.

Map: Enlightenment (built on Ravine) Gamertag: Squirtli Supported Game Types: Dominion Recommended Game Types: Dominion (obviously) Vehicles: 2 Mongooses per base, a Warthog pad at Alpha and Charlie, and a Banshee pad at Bravo Recommended Team Size: ? Map Details: The map consists of three bases, as most Dominion maps do. Alpha and Charlie are located on either side of the grassy part of Ravine, with Bravo between them. They both have sight lines to each other and to Bravo. Alpha and Charlie can also reach each other by taking a path behind Bravo that is protected by rocks (however, it is still possible to enter Bravo along this path). There are no initial or random ordnance drops, so teammates must work together to take over bases and earn their weapons. Weapons consist of Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launchers, Splasers, etc. to DMRs, Plasma Pistols, and Grenades. Alpha and Charlie are smaller bases, while Bravo is larger and more heavily fortified. It also has more entrances, however, including a gravity lift in its basement. This is my first Dominion map so far, and it's definitely a challenge to build. I have not been able to do much testing on this map yet, apart from making sure the bases, turrets, etc. worked properly. I had to go a few versions back to correct map shifting, but all of the Dominion pieces should be working. If anything isn't, please let me know. I will fix it ASAP. Also, if you want to test this map, feel free to do so and let me know how it went! I'd love to know what the best team size for this is, as well. okay, im building maps on forge coz i love the forge (seriously, i'd rather 10 mins on forge then and hour on war games!) and im getting fine details finnished on a new map. anyway, im placing in a "rock 4" to a veichle archway and accidentally zoom right in after placing it, noticing a rather strange dark spot in a small crevice inside the rock. sorta looks like a cave painting of a man running. not sure if im just retarded or if i found an easter egg. if so- sweet- if not, well at least i got a pretty cool map going on! <a href="http://s1180.beta.photobucket.com/user/zwave343/media/IMG_09021.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1180.photobucket.com/albums/x416/zwave343/th_IMG_09021.jpg" border="0" alt="halo 4 cave painting photo IMG_09021.jpg"></a>

Highland Highland is a competitive map made for extraction, KOTH, flood,infinity slayer, and Oddball (it is also a ton of fun on team snipers) it offers a unique experience compared to other maps when dealing with height advantage and vehicle circuits. The map has plenty of room yet you can travel across the map in a limited amount of time thanks to the square design and different layers of the map. I showed this map to Mr. Pokephile and he liked it enough to feature it. Hope you enjoy thejchip

GT: PURIENCE Name: G.I. JOE DEATHMATCH Gametype: SLAYER (4-16) Free For All Map: RAVINE (Big Map) Equipment: Jetpack, Saw, DMR, Plasma Grenades, Mobility, Super Sensors Description: The G.I. Joe headquarters nicknamed the "Silver Fox" base dominates this battlefield. Cobra has infiltrated however planting it's "Lava" base to the far west. All vehicles and weapons (Banshee & Tank) are present, and a floating airbase hovers above the cliffs. Grassland warfare with rich colored scenery & giant red wall barriers will bring endless amounts of vivid carnage.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place but if not would someone please direct me to where I should post this. Ok So here's the thing I made a sweet map for odd ball on ravine, all of my friends thought it was sick but when we went to play it something weird would happen. Whenever I would try to load the map on ravine it would show up as this other forge map that I'm working on on impact. Also the picture for my map on ravine is the picture for Impact. Also when I play my ravine map which is really my impact map it is a different save that I've done more work on than if i just pick the actual impact map. So I'm just wondering if anybody else had a similar problem and if so how did you fix it. Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a map I made with my friend willdawg29. It is recommended that you play this with 10-16 players. Initial drops Spartan Laser x1 Sniper Rifle x1 SAW x2 Needler x2 Vehicles: Warthogs x2 Ghost x2 Shade Turret x1 All teams are enabled for this map Compatible Gametypes: Dominion Exraction Slayer King of the Hill Oddball Flood Regicide Capture the Flag (Capture the Flag also works for Gold and Green Team) and Griffball ( I would not recommend playing regular Griffball on this, but I also have a gametype in my file share called "Gunball" ,which is like neutral bomb assault on Reach) This is a large asymmetrical map that offers open spaces, and face-to-face combat. This map is equally great in a vehicle as it is on foot. There is a walkway which gives you a nice overhead view of the map, but can easily be flanked. There is also a large building for storage that Red Team spawns in. You can bunker down in a dugout, or pick off enemies from a distance. Blue team spawns at the radio out post. So, right now, my friend and I are ALMOST to the far our islands of Ravine in Forge. We can see them VERY clearly using zoom, I CANNOT show any pictures due to a lack of recording equipment. I want to know if ANYBODY else has bypassed the kill barrier yet, that's our LAST obstacle. Here's where we stand right now.
