I hope I have posted in the right forum..... Hi there, I am building a map variant (and will later design a game type variant to go with it) for a 1-life, round-based game where it is 1 versus many. I need a specific weapon (Energy Sword) to respawn at it's original location and orientation each time the lone-wolf player dies and the round restarts. The lone-wolf cannot spawn with a sword; they MUST go get it. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Respawn Entertainment is now taking registrations for TitanFall's Alpha testing. As of right now this Alpha testing is only for the Xbox One, there is no information available as of yet on when or if this testing will become available for Xbox 360 or PC. To register and gain access to this testing, follow these simple instructions: Go to TitanFall's Official Site Log in with your EA Origin account After logging in, simply click "continue" The screen will confirm your request with this message: "Your application to participate is complete. If you are selected to take part in our upcoming test, you will receive an email in the coming days with a unique code and instructions on how to download and access the game on Xbox One. Thank you!" Note: Completion of this form does not secure alpha or beta access. You must be selected as stated above. So what do you think of this? Will you be signing up? TitanFall is inching closer and closer to release every day, and with each of these days it seems that there is always more news coming from Respawn Entertainment about what we should expect for their upcoming title. The most recent of this news was tweeted by Vince Zampella in response to a question a fan asked on Twitter yesterday: This doesn't seem to be a very big problem in my opinion, considering Halo slayer matches are 4v4 and I have plenty of fun in Halo. As Luke Karmali pointed out in an article on IGN, this player count does not include the AI fighters and points out that players can set their Titans to Guard mode or Follow mode. So while its not going to surpass the player count set by other games, it still has all the makings of a very fun, competetive FPS. SOURCE

I know many Halo players have an issue with 343's implementation of kill cams in some of the MM play lists. I myself stand pretty neutral on the subject. I can see how they would be annoying for players who don't like/use them, but on the other hand it's nice to see how you were killed, by whom and maybe learn a few new strategies along the way. Now whether or not they determine to keep kill cams or not, I still think players should be able to read who killed you in the game/kill log after dying. In the play lists that don't have kill cams (dominion, BTB, etc.) it does not indicate anywhere on screen who just killed you. The re-spawn times are longer (with no instant spawn available) and by the time you are spawned your death is not listed in the log. This is extremely aggravating seeing as every other halo in recent memory listed this after your death. It's a huge disadvantage to not be able to see who killed you, as you cannot use opponents weapon and location info for yourself or your teammates!! 343 Please do something to fix this and at least briefly list who killed you after your deaths.

So far the game hasn't disappointed me too much (and i am a huge halo 3 fan, just accepting a little change) but for goodness sake, nothing is more frustrating than saying "one shot on my X" and realizing there isn't an X for anyone on your team to look at. I have no clue what possessed 343 to take that feature out since it has been used since H2 as well as all COD games, but it seems like a major downgrade to mulitplayer in my opinion. Also, a few other opinions that could make this game better can be found in this post: I'm not here to bash the game. I'm just trying to throw out ideas. (I stated the red X issue again in this post, so sorry for the redundancy) http://www.343indust...m-game-options/ check it out and let me know if you guys agree.
