1. DOWNLOAD HALODROME Canvas: Impact Players: 8 - 12 Gametypes: Slayer CTF Oddball KoTH Extraction Regicide Grifball Ricochet Supported Gametypes: Ricochet (primary), CTF, Extraction, KoTH, Oddball, Team and FFA Slayer, and (just for kicks) Grifball. Description: Halodrome is the bigger brother of Minidrome, designed for the 343i Ricochet Forge Contest. There are four primary routes between the bases: upper, lower, and each side. Both sides directly connect to upper mid and lower mid, allowing the routes to be used in different combinations. All ball spawns occur along the midline of the map on the upper level. While upper mid has good sightlines to the bases and the exit of the lower routes, it is completely exposed by design, with protected approaches from the green and gold lifts. Goals: Since Ricochet allows players to score from a distance, a special goal was designed for that gametype (scoring from the midline was trivially easy with only the CTF setup). The goal makes scoring quite difficult from the center mid bridges or platforms (at least, in testing no one was able to do it in-game), but does allow reasonably easy scoring from behind the Y-crosses on the side routes, and easy scoring anywhere in the arc between the side platforms and basement ramp. It is also possible to score blind from behind the center Y-cross pair on the upper level (above the opening to the basement) and on the ramp up from the basement. During testing, most goals were scored by throws within 10 units of the goal. The difference in the goals is depicted below, with Ricochet pictured first, followed by CTF and Grifball: Ordnance:1x Railgun (lower mid, 140s timer) and 2x Concussion Rifles (wide ramps, one nearer to each base, 130s timers) Weapons:2x Needlers (no extra clips, 100s timers) adjacent to each base, various loadout weapons, frag and pulse grenades. No plasma grenades are on-map. Other Comments:I added Grifball because I could. I don't really have a better reason. And yes, the spawns have been tested . . . you can spawn camp all day long just like in real Grifball. Other Screenshots: And we'll finish up with a screencap of a posthumous Ricochet goal . . . killed in mid-jump to the goal. So close to the +50 . . . yet so far away. DOWNLOAD HALODROME
2. Ranked Arena being the main ranked mode doesnt make any logical sense. There is nothing fun or competetive about hiding the Oddball in a corner while the entire game takes place in that one spot on the map because players just wanna hide the ball. I also personally hate strongholds because you spawn, take a point, and hope your team succeeds on the other side of the map. I'd rather work with my team like in CTF, KotH and Slayer. All me and my friends wanna do is play Ranked Slayer and Ranked SWAT. Ranked Arena can go on rotational since this mode only appeals to esports. The rest of us would rather have Ranked Slayer. I've heard that they don't wanna add ranked modes to split the player base even more. This is objectively wrong since the absence of this playlist is the main reason thousands of players are not playing Halo Infinite. We're literally waiting on the sidelines playing NONE of your modes until Slayer is ranked permanently. Smarten up. Please.

6. Map: Mire (subject to change) Current Game modes: Slayer So I am totally new to forging. I feel that my aesthetic skills are good and my map design is decent. My main problem is i do not know how to set game modes up. My spawning for slayer works but I would love to have a seasoned forger help. Mire is a small to medium sized map set in a swampy, toxic, planet. Its aesthetic is based off of old Forerunner technology. It has an interesting asymmetrical design that creates an interesting movement fro both teams. Power Weapons: Binary Rifle, Shotgun Power-Ups: None as of now but there is place for one Weapons: Battle Rifle x2, Light Rifle x1, Carbine x1, SMG x2, Plasma Repeater x1, Brute Plasma Rifle x1, Plasma Pistol x1, Suppressor x1, Frag G x6, Plasma G x2, Splinter G x2 Would love to have feedback. My gt is Salopp Joel. Just shoot me a friend request and maybe a message that you read this page. Thanks!

A symmetrical, aesthetically focused arena map supporting Slayer, CTF, Assault and strongholds GT: cuthroat ninja (very edgy I know, I was 11 when I made it) Recommended 4v4 Download link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-gb/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=cuthroat%20ninja#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_cuthroat%20ninja_37b9a1c9-75d7-461b-90dd-be614b7e8d8f
10. Snake Pit Download Link GT: I am Aschur Players: 2-4 Gametypes: Slayer, Neutral Flag, Oddball Weapons: Sniper Rifle x2 120s 0clip, Plasma Pistol 60s 30%charge, SMG x 2 1clip, BR x2 1clip, 2 Stickies, 2 Frags Powerups: Level 2 Overshield 180s Snake Pit is a rotationally symmetrical 2v2 map that fosters very fast paced engagements. Even though the map is symmetrical, it often times plays asymmetrically with a majority of the action taking place on one of the two sides near OS spawn. Though the map is very vertical, and you can see that in the central shaft - the levels are separated enough that the high ground doesn't have a clear advantage over the other spaces in most firefights. The map takes inspiration from Rats Nest and the Crows Nest campaign level from Halo 3, and I would love to add more details to the map, but I can't right now without inducing framerate drops in the corners of the map. (I will revisit the map and add them if that issue ever gets resolved in a future update.) The map supports Slayer, Oddball and Neutral Flag CTF, but I suggest either Oddball or Slayer - I added Neutral Flag after the fact, and didn't really design the map around it, so it doesn't play it as well as I would like.
11. "Need a blade or armor? You should talk to CaptainDireWolf, at the forge." (Haha couldn't resist) Map download link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=CaptainDireWolf#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_CaptainDireWolf_8f35999b-6c2e-47ff-aacf-923c7ea597d5 Gametypes supported: Slayer (FFA, Team, Multi), and Strongholds Whiterun – The Design Whiterun’s beauty lies in the flowing waters and a variety of familiar landmarks seen throughout the city, so I first and foremost made sure to recreate these as close to the originals as possible in forge and stuck to the same layout. From Warmaiden’s armor shop, to the Gildergreen Tree, to Dragonsreach, and even the Skyforge under the great rock bird, you’ll hopefully get some nostalgia. Match all of these structures with the simple, yet effective housing and market designs and I found that I had a decent layout to play with. Mix in a little terrain, a dash of strategically placed rocks, and a sprinkle of trees to give a little life to Whiterun’s typical bleak environment and voila! Whiterun was born into the Halo 5 universe. Whiterun – Gameplay and Guns I originally just saw Whiterun playing well in FFA, Multi, and Team Slayer, however, I also designed it for strongholds. I certainly encourage suggestions for improvement as I'm new to designing core gameplay, but I’m under the belief that stronghold locations fit best in the Marketplace, near the Shrine of Talos (or who I call the Daedric Grunt), and by the Hall of the Dead, as it gives reasonably balanced distance for starting teams to reach. As for weapon choices, I tried to keep things simple and non-overpowering. There are four power weapons: sniper rifle, shotgun, hammer, and railgun. I personally hate hydra with a passion and rocket launcher always feels slightly OP so I kept them out. Other basic guns include DMR, battle rifle, smg, plasma pistol, needler, pistol, plasma rifles, and an overshield for balance. As I have more experience with designing minigames, feel free to let me know if you think I should change or move any of the weapons located on the map. Final Remarks: - It is possible to climb onto building roofs and a few of the inner walls to get an edge on people while battling, which I didn't realize until testing with others that it turned out to be rather fun. (The design of the city didn't allow for much verticality to begin with so I'll take what I can get HA! - Hope you enjoy playing Whiterun as much as I did forging it. It took me the longest time to forge out of all of my maps, but I think it was worth it. Again, I’m CaptainDireWolf and hit the download link above to check it out in all of its glory for yourself. Cheers! More pics!
12. Hey all, I am creating this post because my friend and I do a weekly show called Forgetastic Fridays where we pick user created maps, we then run around the maps and showcase them. We are looking for anyone that would like to submit their Forge maps, they can be any type of map (4v4, 8v8, Slayer, Infection, Puzzle, etc). And we would love to be able to have the user in the show with us explaining why they did this etc. If you would like to submit your map just leave your GT, and the name of the map. Or you can send me a message on XBL, my GT is Sgt Gnomes, and just let me know the name of the map you would like to submit. I hope to hear from you! Heres an example of what we do:
13. "An aesthetically authentic vacancy; many have shed blood to control this luxurious stronghold." Villa is a fully finished, fully optimised map combined with a solid design, brilliant aesthetics and atmosphere, and a layout designed to integrate multiple play styles. Recommended for 4 v 4 slayer, Villa also works with infection.
14. The Meridian Pipeworks is a BTB vehicle and infantry focused map. Power Weapons on Map: x1 of each, Sniper Rifle, Saw, Spartan Laser, Rocket Luancher. 2x Mantis, 4x Warthog. Power ups x1 each, speed boost, damage boost, active camo, over shield (note I might scrap power ups on map). Where's the pics for My map?
15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GAdkv48GdY This military base is a safe hold and training ground for Spartans. This map is located on a distant arctic planet with perilous drop offs that only the most daring Spartans dare to reside here. There is two bases and towers wrapping around a yard full of bunkers. The rockets in the center are easily combated with alternating damage boost and oversheilds in opposite towers. Master Chief had a short stay on his way to Earth after destroying the first Halo ring. He left a present in the wings of the map for future Spartans, but the recipients must be frugal as there is only one clip left. Training on this map is set up for both Slayer and Capture the Flag. It will hold between 2-8 players, but is best for 2v2. Are you up for the challenge? Can you stay aware of your surroundings? Or, will you succumb to the perils of The Ice Pick... Players: 2-8 (ideal for 2v2 and 3v3) Gametypes: Slayer and CTF Weapons: Rocket Launcher, DMR Battle Rifle, SMG, H1 Pistol, Storm Rifle, Suppressor Grenades: Plasma, frag, Splinter Power ups: Overshield, Damage boost (They spawn on opposite towers a minute apart. Overshield spawns first on the red tower.) Canvas: Glacier I need to edit the post so the images show up. How do I do that?
16. Gamertag: MJ Rookie Player count: 4-8 players. Works best with 2v2 but plays well with 4v4. Supported Gametypes: All Core gametypes are supported. Map Version: 2.0.0 \\\MAP DETAILS/// The map features a symmetrical layout with weapons featured on both, excluding the central Power Weapons. For power weapons, we have in the Terminal, the Energy Sword. In Court Side (outside), the Sniper. Also in the center as counter Power Weapons, we have a Shot Gun (Upper Tree), Light Riffle (Center Stage), and a Splinter(?) Grenade (Upstage). On the map, there is what we call a "Trial by Fire" on both Red and Blue side. These trials are for power ups in the form of a Damage Boost (Trial of Strength) and a Speed Boost (Trail of Speed). Both equally help dominate the map but are very, very risky to get. Finally the normal weapons on the map consist of AR, H2 BR, SMG, Magnum, Storm Riffle, Frag Grenades and Plasma Grenades. This map focus' on movement, all 3 types of combat (close, medium and long range), and offers plenty of paths to get around the map. The main doors are also able to open and closed to the main Terminal and create a whole different kind of play environment as it shifts. The game is meant for 2v2 through 4v4. This map Inspiration is from Violet Courtyard II which I did in Halo the MCC. That map was inspired by the Firefight map in New Mombasa as well as the first Violet Courtyard created by me in Halo 4. As I gain play testers I will update it more to fix and tweak any bugs, flaws, spawning, etc.. Map name in fileshare will be "VC III: Violet Glass" and description will include version number \\\BACKGROUND/// [Resort info edited by ONI for civilian and public safety] Violet Courtyard III - Violet Glass | Welcome guest to the beautiful resort of Violet Courtyard III, located off the coast of [classified]. 17. Knox is a reimagination of a map I made in Halo 4 called Nox. The map has a similar three tier ring system that really makes the gameplay on this map stand out from maps of this similar style. The semi circle layout naturally segments the map and creates loads of fun sightlines between the top and bottom making top control on the map incredibly fun and challenging. Players will have many options in place to attest the positions of power but in a way where teamwork is required. Strategies on the map are easily understandable but at the same time complex enough for replayability. Knox is flexible for 4-8 players. I personally enjoy 2v2 BR's with no radar the most. If your'e playing Hill I would recommend at least 6 players. If you want to get ahold of the map, add TheElderAcorn and search for me on the 343 Guilty Spark mission, timing, Heroic leaderboards. Thanks for taking the time to check out my first MCC map! Here is a walkthrough of the very 1st version:

20. Short Circuit is a small arena style Slayer map with added CTF and KOTH gametypes. The map is still in the testing phase, but I think it will make for decent competitive matches. I recommend 2v2, but there should be enough cover to allow for up to 8 players. Weapons on Map ( 1 clip) Sniper Rifle x2 90s Brute Shot 90s Assault Rifle 30s Plasma Pistol x2 30s Brute Plasma Rifle 30s Covenant Carbine x2 30s Frag Grenades Powerups Overshield 90s Active Camo 90s Let me know what you think of the map and add me for customs. 22. imthinkinarby's Suggestions for 343 Industries to Improve into Halo 5: Guardians. Hello Halo community! It is a pleasure to be writing for you all who enjoy the Halo franchise as much as I do. Please, 343i, take this into consideration if you are reading. Let's cut to the chase here, guys. As you know, the majority of this fanbase has agreed Halo 4 wasn't as good as previous games in the series; notably Halo 3 (My personal favourite). So I'm here to at least let 343i know of some issues that we as a body have not enjoyed in Halo 4 and long to see tweaked in Halo 5: Guardians. Today is the day before the Halo 5 beta, and I will keep this post updated on things I see that need to be improved. I need a weapon, and said weapon is not a weapon, but a lamp. And said lamp is a keyboard. Here we begin. First of all, one of the most obvious things bothering a few of us is no Elite customization character. Some players prefer the Elite model over the Spartan one, so that can be proves as a letdown to that section of the fanbase. Also, aspiring Machinima directors may want to use Elites in some of their films as they would want to make them the antagonists of said films. Some would call this sloppiness or even downright laziness. Another problem biting me in the *** right now (And arguably the most) is that the originally fun, arena based matchmaking maps have been degraded slightly to those of Call of Duty somewhat. This can be fixed by playing both Halo 3 and Halo 4. A vast majority (I would go as far to say 89%) of the fans prefer Halo 3's multiplayer. Try basing the multiplayer maps off of Halo 3 and give a slight 343i twist to it. Something else is story. Story in Halo 4 was satisfactory for me. But for many others it was a "catastrophe". I wouldn't go that far, but it could have been improved on. Maybe make the Chief go into hiding to be found by UNSC and ONI forces and use him to fight a Storm Covenant invasion force poised on Earth or take down a Promethean asset that is ready to strike Humans and Covenant alike. Or, possibly, make a return of the Flood and another Halo or something. Just random suggestions. And maybe a bit closer to the campaign of Halo Reach, yeah? Goodbye for now, all. I'll edit this post when I have played Halo 5: Guardians. Feel free to comment your suggestions on the topic. I am happy to hear any ideas. Cheers, imthinkingarby
23. Red Sea Supported Gametypes: Slayer, CTF Players 4-8 Recommended Game: Team Slayer BR 4v4 Power Weapons: Sniper Rifle x2 90s 1clip, Fuel Rod Gun 90s 1clip, Shotgun 90s noclip Powerups: Active Camo Red Sea is my submission to Ducain23's Stonetown Forge Competition. I was reluctant to forge on anything other than the forge palates, but I think this actually turned out okay. There is no option to add anything natural though, so I tried my best to used what was available. I really love the way the water looks on the map and wish the same effort was put into the water on Awash. I'm sure this is probably the best option to forge on as far as standard maps go too, so good choice there Ducain23. Anyway, I hope you like the map and look for me on the Halo 2 Timed Run Cairo Station Leaderboard. Gamertag: Chronmeister
24. Curfew Supported Gametypes: Slayer, KOTH, CTF Players: 8-16 Power Weapons: Rocket Launcher 1clip 90s, Sniper Rifle x2 1clip 90s, Sentinel Beam 90s Powerups: Active Camo 90s, Overshield 90s Vehicles: Ghost x2 90s, Gungoose x2 90s, Hornet x2 3min(No spawn at start or in flag) Let me know how you like the map and add me for customs. 25. Trifecta Trifecta is a three way symmetrical map primarily designed for Slayer, but with added KOTH, and Oddball gametypes. The map features some pretty unique sightlines.
