This is a verified and legitimate opportunity for members of the Halo community. I have spoken with the recruiter and his associate and felt this would be something our community would like to take a look at. Good luck to all who apply and please remember to respond in the manner expected by the recruiter. Site Moderator : Absolute Dog Hello all, My name is Josh and I’m a recruiter for Volt. We’re a staffing agency and our client is looking for testers that are highly proficient with Halo Multiplayer. Anyone who has software testing experience or a CompSci (or related) degree, and has played in organized competitions or feels that he/she is an expert at digital killin’, is encouraged to apply. The client wants those that are familiar with testing practices, the Halo universe (the series, history, lore, etc.), and FPS gaming in general. Here is a description from the client- The candidate will be responsible for writing baseline test specifications, functional test cases, test specifications for a sub-area of a project or test results for an area or test pass. Also responsible for bug reproduction cases and scenarios. Strong knowledge of the Halo universe and FPS gaming. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. One or more years experience working in a software development/testing environment. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelors in Computer Science a plus. The job is a 1099 contract position and is expected to last at least a full year. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 1st shift (9-5 or 10-6) and overtime is always a possibility. Pay is hourly at $13-$14 p/h DOE, and benefits are offered through the contractor (Volt). The location is in Redmond, WA near the Microsoft/343 campuses. For anyone who is interested please send an email with your resume attached to [email protected]. Also, there is a Halo questionnaire that potential candidates are required to fill out which I’ll send to every qualified applicant. The purpose of this survey is to gauge your knowledge and experience with the Halo franchise. Once I have the necessary papers, I’ll give each candidate a phone call to discuss things even further. Thanks for your time everyone! Joshua Svoboda Recruiter Volt Workforce Solutions 3373 National Drive, Suite 100 | Raleigh, NC 27612 tf: 1-800-595-8658 | f: 919-782-5549 [email protected]
