Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the third Weekly Site Wrap-Up! I once again have three exciting articles mashed into one amazing piece for your reading pleasure. So let's get down to business and start reading, shall we? View attachment: WNW 50314.JPG Showtime Vying for Deal with Halo TV Series The ever famous Halo TV series directed by Steven Spielburg may be shifting from it's Xbox One exclusivity according to Variety. Variety.com says that the show, as well as the deal with Showtime, have been underway for nearly a year and it's been a difficult process, as Halo is such a prime asset to Microsoft. As well, tensions arose because both sides have been charting new frontiers for a new show to air. Nancy Tellem had brought up the show profusely at the New Front presentation recently, but Showtime wasn't mentioned strangely. Representatives on both sides refused to comment on the matter as of yet. View attachment: halo4-hero.jpg Would access of the Halo TV series become easier and more fluid for you if it was on Showtime? Add your feedback and discussion below, thanks for the read! Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC to come to Xbox First Activision's newest title in the Call of Duty franchise, Advanced Warfare, seems to already have exclusivity deals on the way with Microsoft and the Xbox. According to Xbox.com themselves, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC will come to Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms before Playstation and PC. This shouldn't count as a surprise, considering Call of Duty: Ghosts also had timed DLC for Xbox One and 360 platforms. The page reveals a wealth of other content as well, such as the name of the leader of this Private Corporation, called Atlas, the man's name is Jonathan Irons. View attachment: CoDAW.jpg Does this information dictate your decision as to whether you will purchase the game on Xbox or another platform? Let me know, be sure to debate below! Borderlands 2 Vita Edition Downgraded to 2 Player Only Co-op Borderlands 2 on PSVita was a highly hyped title, mainly due to the promise of a full open world game like Borderlands with four player cooperative play in the palm of your hands, unfortunately, this won't entirely be the case. On a blog on PlayStation.com, focusing on the testing of Borderlands 2 on the Vita, Justin Massongill, Sony's social media specialist, stated that the game was being downgraded even though they had aimed for four player parties. He said that "while they [sCEA] strived to include four-player co-op in the game, they made a decision late in their development cycle to focus on providing the best two-player-only co-op experience possible." This decision could impact the sales of the system's bundle with the game now, as many players mainly pre-ordered for the feature they had been promised. View attachment: borderlands2_review_massive_gamepage.jpg What's your take on this matter, will you still purchase the game on Vita, or do you have others reasons to avoid it? Discuss below, have a good day, and thanks for reading. That's your Wrap-Up everyone, and on time this week! Tune in next week for another batch of reading pleasures from yours truly, be sure to rate and comment on the article, and I'll see you next time!

Welcome, below is the first reincarnation of the Weekly News Wrap-up, for those who do not know, the WNW was originally done in the News Group but around 2013 it seemed to stop production, I have decided to reincarnate it in my own format, several articles meshed into one long piece, as the several might not have been able to stand on their own, or it could serve as an easier method of keeping up to date all around the gaming world, rather then just the huge highlights. These will resume next Friday and will run week-by-week on each Friday unless an issue is brought up, which will be highlighted to readers via notification so they are aware of the delay. Now let's get reading! View attachment: WNW 41714.JPG PlayStation 4 Sales Surpass 7 Million Units The Sony PlayStation 4 has been incredibly successful in the coming months of it's launch. Titles like Infamous: Second Son and Killzone: Shadow Fall have enticed players from multiple platforms to purchase a PS4 and get their fill of next generation gameplay there. On April 16th, on PlayStation's Blog at PlayStation.com, Sony's Social Media Manager Sid Shuman announced that the PlayStation 4 had surpassed the 7 Million unit mark. The mark was apparently reached April 6th, 2014 and yesterday it was massively surpassed, making a huge mark for the company and for the console itself. Sid also hinted at new software updates for the PlayStation 4 to be released soon which turned out to be 1.70 increasing share features. View attachment: playstation_4_logo_2.jpg What's your take on this? Is the revenue well deserved, and has your experience with the console (if you own it) been satisfactory? Leave your thoughts below! Titanfall: Expedition Downloadable Content Coming in May Respawn Entertainment's crown jewel, Titanfall, has received quite the positive feedback without countless perfect scores from credible outlets, but, it's publisher Electronic Arts has a habit of leaving games unfinished and releasing the cut parts as Paid DLC. That seems to be the case today, as on Titanfall.com, it was revealed that Titanfall is getting a new DLC next month, only at it's highest two months from the main game's launch, containing features that do in-fact seem to have been cut from the main game. It contains just three new maps, with later updates including features like Titan customization and Private Lobbies, all features that would have been possible to add in the main game and likely were planned to be added for free. It is priced at $9.99, or alternatively you may purchase the Season Pass getting all of the packs for a discount. View attachment: TitanfallExpeditionArtB.png Are you annoyed by this, or is it acceptable and are you purchasing the DLC considering it's rushed nature and barebones content for it's price? Let me know below! Civilization: Beyond Earth Announced Sid Meier's next new Civilization title has been announced, hailing to the days of Alpha Centuri. The game is called Civilization: Beyond Earth and was announced mainly on the official Civilization channel in a teaser, it will follow you expanding to another planet, while doing what a Civilization game does best, turn-based strategy. It's all very exciting detailing but aside from that 2K and Firaxis Games have been slim on the details for the game, and as for the possibility of it coming to Next Generation consoles, we're unsure. It is however confirmed for PC, and that will likely be where it is limited to. View attachment: Civilization-Beyond-Earth-1.jpg Are you a fan of the Civilization games and how do you feel about the new direction they are taking the games? Leave your thoughts on your approvals of the series below and tell me what you think! Thanks for reading the Weekly News Wrap-up's first Reincarnation, see you all next week, leave feedback below!

Sorry for the day of delay, I've been extremely busy, but now it's back, and will follow a Saturday cycle instead of Friday due to my inability to work on this during the weekdays. Now, this week we have again three major articles for your reading entertainment, enjoy! View attachment: WNW 42614.JPG E.T. On The Atari 2600 Dump Found in New Mexico The most infamously bad game of all time is arguably the E.T. Video Game on the Atari 2600 from 1982, which broke records with it's immense worldwide panning and reputation, enough to send millions of copies to alleged landfills in New Mexico. According to IGN.com, who was on the scene, these rumors are in fact true, and many copies of E.T., along with other Atari 2600 games that bombed in the sales department, are buried in a large landfill in Almagordo, New Mexico. The filmed documentary of the finding of these games will be released exclusively to Xbox One under Avengers Writer, Zak Penn. View attachment: AtariET.jpg What's your take on this news, and will you be watching the documentary when it launches on Xbox One? Let me know, thanks for reading! Gears of War on Xbox One Job Posting Listed on Microsoft's Website Since up and coming studio Black Tusk took over the Gears of War license, acquired from Epic Games by Microsoft, news has been slim on the new project, besides the confirmation of long-time Producer Rod Fergusson's work being done on the new project. On Microsoft-careers.com though, we have a job listing for a Senior Rendering Engineer for the project, requiring 7-8 years of experience in Video Game design, and 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Graphics Developer, and being able to work on two consoles. In the listing, they even include the Xbox 360 and PS3 as examples, leading to the possibility of it being on the Xbox 360 as well as the One. View attachment: GearsOfWar.jpg Would you want the next Gears of War on Xbox 360 as well as Xbox One, or could it harm the game's development? Discuss below! Halo 5 Possibly Teased In Escalation #8 Halo Escalation has been incredibly popular in it's sales, especially with the release of Issue 7 and it's dealing with the scenarios after Halo Wars, so now fans may experience the latest in Halo 5 news by reading Escalation #8. According to TotalXbox.com, the site for OXM, Halo Escalation Issue 8 will follow the plot of Master Chief's departure from the Infinity and what leads up to Halo on Xbox One. A blurb teases, “The Master Chief returns in “The Next 72 Hours: Part 1″! After defeating the Didact, John-117 joined the crew of Infinity . . . but why did he leave? The mystery begins here.” Issue 8 releases on July 23rd, quite a while after the events of E3 2014. View attachment: HaloEscalationBox.jpg Are you planning on picking up Issue 8 now that this info was revealed, or are you holding off for theorists to figure it out? Let us know in the comments below, thanks for the read. Thanks indeed for reading this issue of the Weekly News Wrap-Up, I'll see you next time!
