Hello there one and all. For those of you who don't know me my name is SeanM666. But since i've been gone for a couple years and have lost my password to my old account on here i've been reborn as SeanM666v.2 lol Here's what this topic is about. Lost And Forgotten Forge Maps From Halo 4 and or Reach. What happened to those maps that you once enjoyed playing constantly with a bunch of your friends? Do you have any maps that time has forgotten over the years? If so here's a fresh new idea by yours truly. Why don't you Share some of the maps you loved if you still have them or if you remember playing. Since i don't have a xb360 anymore due to it's disk drive finally giving out on me after 5 years of owning it i have been out of the gaming community in halo. I last made dozens of maps on Reach and Halo 4 although idk if any of them still exist. If you would like to look up my maps up simply look up my gamertag in the custom maps options to download and view some of my map creations. I'd love to see any form of images of your maps or even if you have the ability to load videos up i'd love to see some of them being played on. I've always loved creating new buildings and maps on halo since the sand box on halo 3. And now it seems those creative architectures i've made and the maps have been lost to time...Or have they? Please post any images of maps you have made or one's that have made a lasting impression on you through out the Halo:reach to Halo 4 games you have helped create or even help test on. And also feel free to check out what little if any maps i made are still in the game. I look forward to seeing your creativity and your beautiful maps. One Forge artist to the next.

Just hoping this gets fixed soon, or something helps it. There are two lag issues that have been going on for a while now, and it is getting rather irritating. I do not recall Halo 3, or Reach having such a terrible lag when two people were split screened, so why is it in Halo 4? Now I'm not saying it lags on every map, but it does however always lag on custom forge maps. (Shutout, Simplex, Opus, Black Site etc.) Whether it is a guest or not, if two people share a screen, 98% of the time there is a horrible lag. This makes for insanely frustrating play when playing snipers, swat, and even flood; Not to mention having people quit out because it can get to be that bad. I don't know how this issue can be solved, but it has been going on long enough so why ignore a large issue when it comes to match making? Doesn't 343 want people to play their games? Another issue is trying to play BTB or Multi-team on Complex, because the map has an awful lag. Suggesting to remove the map from both playlists, because there is just too much going on for that map to apparently handle. If anyone knows the best ways to fix the lag if it is even possible, please let post it here; I know I am not the only one dealing with this problem.

Sup peeps, just registered here to submit my map. My gamertag is Endymion72 and this map is in my Fileshare titled "UNSC Ironclad Brewery". Sorry for the poor quality images; download it from my fileshare to see the whole thing. Description: A mid-size close quarters map with great verticality, high suspension, and dynamic cornering. There are multiple tiers with a number of highly accessible bridges, ramps, intersections, and man cannons to get around the map. I only say it's mid-size because it takes up a lot of space, but ultimately close-quarters weapons lend themselves best the map. I would say it would be a great map for SWAT or SWAT Magnums as well. It is currently only set up for up to 16 player Team Slayer variants (no neutral spawns yet), but I will work on adding KOTH, Oddball, Flood, and Regicide variants. I would say it's tight enough for the Shields Up! minigame as well. Promethean vision, the Boltshot, and melee weapons will do you well here. There are many toys to be found around the map as well. I called it the brewery because I was going to use a bunch of those Erosion pipes to create a feeling of some kind of liquid refinery, but I got pretty tight on the budget and also forgot that Erosion doesn't have silos. Still a chill place for Spartans to play some War Games and go relax though. There is a small UNSC campground at the base of the map complete with fishing and a gaming hut (only accessibly in forge mode or via a well-aimed suicide). The glow caused by the green mucky-muck lake on Erosion really lights up the map well. Enjoy! A video review would be awesome... Looking for people to playtest it, message me if you're interested. If you have taken a look at the latest Halo Bulletin on Waypoint, you should know that some cool updates will be released on 1/21 to 2/4. *From Halo Waypoint* Week of 1/21 Spartan Ops Episode 6: Five new missions and an accompanying new CG cinematic. "Forge Test" playlist (name not final): A rotational hopper featuring small Forge maps such as Relay. Help us test these maps by providing feedback and reporting bugs that will assist us in getting them ready for Matchmaking! Specializations: Pioneer and Pathfinder Specializations unlocked for all players. Week of 1/28 Spartan Ops Episode 7: Five new missions and an accompanying new CG cinematic. Grifball playlist: A rotational hopper featuring everybody’s favorite virtual sport. Catch the disease! Specializations: Engineer and Stalker Specializations unlocked for all players. Week of 2/4 Spartan Ops Episode 8: Five new missions and an accompanying new CG cinematic. Team Doubles playlist: A rotational hopper for those of you that like action of the 2 vs 2 variety. Specializations: Rogue and Tracker Specializations unlocked for all players. As you can see, Specializations will eventually appear in the game for the rest of the players. Also, some all-time favorites will return, such as Grifball and Team Doubles. Plus, small Forge maps will be available in War games matchmaking. Hello Everyone, A lot of you may not know me but i am ELJefeWay and, well im trying to get my name out there with a new years resolution i have for forge. I make a lot of maps in my spare time spending countless hours in forge like most of you but, i am trying to make the ultimate map that everyone can enjoy. -------------Contest--------- I would like to Make a contest for people like me, the small time map creator poring hours into the forge. I want everyone to show off their maps you spent hours forging with me in an ultimate custom map night to have everyone, who has played the maps to choose the four maps to be deemed the 4 best maps in The Forge Resolution. This is going to be a short paragraph, but I want to ask. Is there any custom maps you can recommend? Anything from infection, races, grifball, etc. It doesn't matter what it is. I just want some custom maps because I have very few saved. So, if you know any fun custom maps, share it with me. Also, link the custom game type and the map creator, because right now the file share system is not working properly.

Are user submitted forge maps ever going to be integrated into matchmaking? If so, does anyone have any idea 1) How one would submit a map, 2) When submitted maps would be available and 3) If maps could be used in all of the gametypes?
