~Chapter 10: KRRRRSSSSSHZZZZZTTHZZZZZ~ “Where the hell is the evac?” Jackson assisted Frank in the destruction of an enemy Banshee. Two more fired at them. “It’s up ahead, we’re almost there. We’ll have to hold the line for about 30 seconds, we’re early.” Archangel took Junior’s shotgun and shot an Elite that tried to board the Warthog. “Nevermind the evac, where the hell is Michael and Heli?” Runner shot a jackal, denied. It raised its gauntlet just in time. She pulled the weapon over her shoulder and took out five grunts, then turned back to get the jackal by surprise. “Who knows? Maybe Michael went back to get Heli. He wasn’t in the Warthog.” Frank shot his sticky detonator at a Hunter, as soon as they were out of range he pulled the trigger and watched orange ooze explode everywhere. He reloaded. “He also wasn’t at the base. What could he have been up to?” Paladin just sat there and watched everyone. He took a sip of his coffee. Dexter and Archangel sniped any Elite’s that were after them on Ghosts. Dexter replied, “Could have been because of Bek. She’s awful flirty for a Spartan. Heli would probably have done something to prove to her he’s not worthless, like she treated him.” He shot a grunt off a shade turret. Archangel and Dexter stopped, together they said, “Oh crap.” Junior stopped the vehicle then hopped out and gunned down every Elite within fifty meters of range. “Knowing the fool, he’s probably dead from that robot.” Junior power kicked a grunt, which flew at a wall. Death on impact. “I don’t think he would’ve done that.” Bek said. She shot a drone. “Your evac shuttle has arrived! Bahaha. Hurry up and get on before I leave you to die. Don’t think I’m joking, I will.” It was Osiris, he was the one sent to extract them in this heavily armored Assault Pelican. The mounted spartan laser cannon charged up, it took out two Wraith’s in just one shot. Ugh. Bek stumbled into the Warthog, she fell on the ground. “I’m coming. Just wait.” “I told you, no waiting. We’re leaving.” Osiris commanded the Pilot to take off. “You can’t just leave her there! That’s insane!” Runner yelled at Osiris. “So be it. Nothing you can do now.” He bursted out in laughter. “Oh ho ho...” He started to calm down. “Samantha, we’re en route now. ETA, twenty seconds.” Osiris got in the co-pilot seat, he fired the 40mm cannon at a phantom. It took severe damage, he finished it off with a second. “Cheers.” He pulled out a canister and drank what turned out to be Scotch. They boarded the UNSC Warlord. This time, it wasn’t boarded. -------------- Michael walked into the base. “Huh, when did the power go off?” He activated his flashlight and found the generators. He managed to get it back online. He walked over to the Operations room to make radio contact with Warlord that he would arrive in a Hornet. Michael screamed like a little girl and threw himself backwards. He saw Heli’s body on the floor, blood was everywhere and his death was brutal. The floor was a tinted dark maroon. Heli’s left leg and left arm laid on the table. His right leg and right arm laid thrown around the room. He found his body, er the main part. It looked as if it was cut open and something feasted on the inside of it. Michael took his helmet off and threw up on the body. He wiped his face off afterwards. “This is the least I can do.” He grabbed Heli’s helmet and took it off. An eye was gone and his nose was torn off in half. Michael threw up again. He then took the video chip of everything Heli recorded within the past seventy-two hours and then made radio contact with command. He was set. Without acknowledgement of the body, he ran out of the room and got in the Hornet and started it up and headed towards the UNSC Warlord. He noticed a lone soldier off in the distance. They were surrounded, but they managed to keep alive. He started to head over to the soldier. Too late. A Scarab charged the soldier, they were gone. Michael threw up in the cockpit. ~End of Chapter 10~

This is some sad news to report on ladies and gentlemen. Rev3 Games, a famous gaming and entertainment hub on YouTube, is shutting down for good. If you all remember, several months ago an intelligent, well versed, and overall well respected games journalist by the name of Adam Sessler left Rev3 Games, an gaming hub on YouTube, taking with him the channel's momentum and a large portion of it's fanbase. And now, we're unfortunately on the day when Rev3 Games shuts down for good, with Tara Long and Nick Robinson, two other major channel figureheads, saying goodbye on the channel's . So why is this news, after all, it's just a YouTube channel? Well, that's just it, it was a YouTube channel, but with so many influential figures in the industry and a large hold on gaming itself with level-headed people voicing their opinions, be they right or wrong, it was still a prodigious part of the industry. And with the sad loss of this amazing group of people, I feel as though Gaming Journalism as a whole is beginning to lose it's grip, with this being just the beginning. We can speculate, and argue about this, about what they were and why they're leaving, but is that really what Sessler or Long or Robinson even would want to be left off on as their final note? Likely not, so for now, let's just remember all the good Rev3 Games did for the gaming world, and share a moment of sadness for the loss of a great group of individuals. Best of luck to the Rev3 team, they're talented people and I wish them the best. View attachment: rev3gamesoriginals--0588--nick-says-goodbye-to-rev3games--medium.thumb.jpg As you could likely tell, this means a lot to me as an amateur Games Journalist myself, working on this site. Journalism and gaming are my passions, and these are some individuals I looked up to for inspiration, to see them leave is very sad. But if the moderators or anyone else feels this isn't 'news', you can go ahead and report it/remove it. What are your thoughts on this whole thing? Let me know down below folks. Thanks a lot for reading, see you all next time. Take care, and good luck Tara, Nick, Adam, and everyone else that was on the team.

Dear 343 Industries This is my official retirement of the Halo series. I've been in the game since the very first Halo, and it pains me to actually say goodbye, I have a total confirmation of 40,000+ confirmed kills and countless hours of game time. But Halo 4 has drawn the line. When Halo 4 was on the brink of launch, I was expecting a game that rivaled Reach, but this one fell short, far too short. Halo: Reach had a total combination of a great story line, an awesome multi-player experience, and a Forge mode that cannot be compared to. The best part of Halo: Reach, was that there was no DLC. Mainly due to the fact that it was Bungie's last release of the Halo series. But it's farewell was a priceless jewel. I commend you for your cinematic experience within the campaign, but that doesn't make up for the game's shortfalls. I had a great time playing the campaign mode, it was a lot of fun, and fairly challenging, but this was playing on Legendary mode from the get-go. I completed it from start to finish within 8 hours though. Fairly disappointing for a game that was so anticipated. The multi-player is fantastic, without a doubt, still some bugs to work out, but those don't subtract from the value of the experience. What was the most disappointing, is how you, 343 Industries, has turned such a unique, space-age game, into a copy of what we know as Call of Duty, there are the aesthetics of course, but the core of the multi-player is almost a clone of the Call of Duty franchise. Custom classes, objective games are played with the main goal (i.e. Capturing the flag, planting the bomb, capturing territories) being secondary to killing your foes, and the simple-mindedness of it all. Armor abilities are now treated like perks, except you have to earn, and then buy them (Similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops) along with your weapons, and other such items. The only real aspect of Halo 4 being different to every Call of Duty game made so far is the Spartan Customization. You can change your armor, and the color of it. but that doesn't change game play mechanics at all. You have introduced Prestige Levels, otherwise known as Specializations, and you've completely altered what Bungie had left in place to be built upon. Specifically in the campaign, when Master Chief even says it himself, "I thought the Elites were on our side." And all Cortana says is, "A lot can happen in four years." and you expect us to take that as an answer. Brutes are never even seen in this game, nor are drones. What in the world happened in four years? That much? Brutes extinct, the elites break the truce, and not even a word from the Arbiter. I was hoping throughout the entire campaign, for him to show up at some point and save Master Chief like he did at one point or another in Halo 3. I'm just done, 343 you have ruined everything that Halo was for me. Left so many questions unanswered, and completely destroyed the uniqueness that Halo had before. I didn't even mention how you left us hanging for Forge mode, i.e. there not being one. Because what you put in Halo 4, that's not forge, that putting more vehicles, sandbags, and guns in maps. That's not fun, that's not Forge. That's just pathetic. Yet I have no doubt that you intend on releasing DLC with the real Forge Experience included. And to that, I raise the highest middle finger I possibly can. This game you released is $60 here in America, and personally, that's half of my paycheck per week. That's not the kind of money I can just fritter away. Maybe for some kids, who's parents buy them all of their video games, where it's not too bad for them. But this game is not worth $60. And I don't even want to talk about Spartan Ops, that's just another copy/paste from Call of Duty, except you changed the name from "Spec Ops" And not to mention the total lack of creativity in your writing department, did you notice how many things they had copied from Star Wars? Because I sure did, and I'd be careful with that, now that Star Wars is owned by Disney. Tomorrow, I'm going to package this game up, bring it back to the retailer I bought it from, and get every last penny I can back. You've ruined it 343, I'm going to go back to playing Halo: Reach, when everything was perfect. Awesome campaign, awesome multi-player, awesome forge mode, and superb everything else. Goodbye 343 Industries And goodbye Halo, I will never forget the golden days. SirFfuzzyLogik, over and out.

I have decided that I am an unfit leader for my clan, Black Phoenix. I had high hopes for Black Phoenix, originally the Prometheans. But I've been grounded (mind you, I'm only 13) for a long time (about 2 months). And amidst all my school work and groundation and procrastination, I have been unsuccessful in building this clan. But this does not mean Black Phoenix is over. My Legate, C3R3ALASSASSIN, left the clan awhile back. But Jeremama21 has stayed faithful, and will take the reigns of Black Phoenix. I do not want this clan to fade into nothingness, so I was either going to give it to him or one of you, and Jeremama accepted it. You future members, keep in mind I will retain the clan emblem and service tag, which is FENX. You may or may not encounter me in Halo 4, but send me a message if you do. With a heavy heart, I put down the mantle that I have created. So this is... goodbye. Sincerely, Furi0usGeorgeX

Well twas the night before the launch, so I bid a fond farewell to Reach for the foreseeable future, and an even fonder farewell to Bungie (been a solid blast all these years, so eager to play Destiny and fully expect to be blown away when it eventually comes out). And I bid a massive hello to 343i & map creators Certain Affinity (proper after Anni). And the might that is Halo 4.

I am afraid I have bad news. My laptop's rental is expiring, and all of the other computers in my house are always in use. I'm afraid will not be able get on at home. But, I'm sure I'll be able get on. just only 1/4 as much. You should remember me as a friend and as a humorous person, not as a jerk, or a spammer or a perv, maybe a troll, but I will always return to this glorious place, using the computers at my school liberry ( ). So, for now, I must pay your respects for asking for your GT's, so we can still be friends...goodbye.

I say hello. Okay, so, this is a game and something to help me out. Let me explain: What you do is introduce yourself. Introduce yourself as to who you are here the first time. After that, introduce yourself however you want. Introduce yourself as Chuck Norris for all I care. This is the tricky part... The person below you has to back out in a way that doesn't seem rude from a regular conversation. I see that confused look on your face. Let me example: I am Zed The Evil Taco. I used to come to this forum frequently, but after a failed attempt at college, I dropped off the grid for a bit. Now I'm back! The next post would say something like: Yeah, hey listen, um... My... wife... just gave birth... and the baby... is making things float with its mind... so... I'll call you? Hey, I'm Chuck Norris. Don't question me or I'll roundhouse kick you. (End of example) Now we start playing. I am Zed The Evil Taco. I used to come to this forum frequently, but after a failed attempt at college, I dropped off the grid for a bit. Now I'm back!
