Hello everyone! I'm happy to say that I am returning to console gaming after about 3-4 years of being a sole PC gaming kinda guy. I used to play Halo: Reach/4 with the Dropshock Brigade and I loved it there (for the most part). DSB did have its shortcomings, but I still feel that it was one of the best structured communities that I've been a member of. So, hopefully, I can find another clan similar. Like I said, I'm a returning player, so I've only gotten as far as to buying everything I need and I'm installing Halo 5 at the moment (WHAT IS WITH THIS INSTALL TIME? I'M USING THE DISC). The only thing that I'm lacking is a good mic, so I'll be getting one either today or tomorrow. I wish to find a clan that has a good military like structure, stuff like ranks, different platoons and larger companies, ect. I love having the feeling of progression through the ranks as I improve in the game and in the clan/community. Second, I want a clan that is competitive, but also casual in the sense that they strive to be great players, but know that Halo 5 is still a game and meant to be fun, so there are a lot of other things going on other than just competitive nights. Some Background Info: We are a Halo Warsim that dates back to Halo 2, over the years we have tuned our craft, as we have played through Halo 3, Reach, 4 and MCC. Now in Halo 5 we are in the middle of a war, and are looking to recruit more members to participate in our War Simulation events. What We Do: On our War Sim events we divide up into two factions, simply named REDD and BLUE, who fight over control of various maps in Halo 5. Members in each faction are put into a number of squads who practice and compete together each weekend in Battle Nights, as well as other weekly events including matchmaking, practices, scrimmages, customs nights, and skirmishes. Overview of Battle Nights: These are our primary events and the highlight of the War Simulation. Every week, each faction chooses a map controlled by the enemies to attack, and the Battles occur on either Saturday or Sunday at 6:00 PM EDT. Those who attend are grouped into teams and face off against those from the opposing faction, aiming for wins in order to help their faction win the map. Each map has numerous games played on it, with 8v8 maps generally being best of 9 and 4v4 maps being best of 15, though this is adjusted based on attendance. After each Battle Night, the warmap is updated and the cycle begins anew. For those curious this is the current Warmap:http://puu.sh/o6rC8/5925f92509.jpg (there's other things which I'm not explaining as they get a bit complex, but there's an "Auxiliary Battle" system that works similar to RISK also at play, which is what the small squares and circles are for) The ultimate Goal of each army to reach the opposing Capital and capture it, ending the war. It does go deeper than that though, if you're curious about anything or want to know more, just ask. What we are looking for in our recruits: Able to be respectful (we don't want ***) Active in Halo 5 Sense of competitiveness We do ask you be at least older than 15 if you wish to join (those under 15 can join once we verify that you're mature enough) After enlisting in a faction, everyone has to go through a "bootcamp" where we explain the community rules and such What else can we do in Forerunner Conflict? In truth Forerunner Conflict has always been member-run, meaning “Forerunner Conflict is what you put into it." The main feature is the War Simulation and Battle Nights, but there are numerous other events hosted weekly by members and open to anyone. This map is located on a distant arctic planet with perilous drop offs that only the most daring Spartans dare to reside here. There is two bases and towers wrapping around a yard full of bunkers. The rockets in the center are easily combated with alternating damage boost and oversheilds in opposite towers. Master Chief had a short stay on his way to Earth after destroying the first Halo ring. He left a present in the wings of the map for future Spartans, but the recipients must be frugal as there is only one clip left. Training on this map is set up for both Slayer and Capture the Flag. It will hold between 2-8 players, but is best for 2v2. Are you up for the challenge? Can you stay aware of your surroundings? Or, will you succumb to the perils of The Ice Pick... Players: 2-8 (ideal for 2v2 and 3v3) Gametypes: Slayer and CTF Weapons: Rocket Launcher, DMR Battle Rifle, SMG, H1 Pistol, Storm Rifle, Suppressor Grenades: Plasma, frag, Splinter Power ups: Overshield, Damage boost (They spawn on opposite towers a minute apart. The clan is based of game of thrones brothers of the nights watch but that is up for suggestion. I've been looking for a good, well-rounded clan to join. However, there have yet to be many clan established on MCC, or rather, any that pique my interest. I've been dealing with clans since the days of the original Halo 2. I've seen my fair share of good, and, and great clans. I've come to realize that my best experiences have been with military role-play clans. By that I mean clans with military ranks and positions to differentiate between their members. I've led clans, I've been a lowly soldier in clans, I've been an adviser to clan leaders. With all of that experience and more, I've made a difference in some way in almost every clan I've been in. I can work wherever I am needed. If you are looking for an adviser for your work and to help you set something up, I can do it. If your looking for someone to help you lead, I can do it. If you're looking for a squad leader or some sort of drill instructor, I can do it. If you're looking for a motivational speaker for your soldiers, I can do that too. HALO 4 : The Anunnaki is actively recruiting new members! HALO 4 : The Anunnaki is actively recruiting new members! We have a military style rank Private through General within 3 different divisions and we run off of a chain of command. There is a clan code, which is necessary for functioning properly. We also have 4 subdivisions. We have 2 game nights a week on Wednesdays and Fridays (not required), and 1 meeting on Saturday evenings where the latest news, discussions with other clans, and promotions take place (required unless excused), and a Training program that takes place on Mondays along with "RSA" or Raid Safety Awareness. We have a set list of jobs (10) to assign members of the clan, allowing each individual to have their own unique contribution to the clan and more than one job is possible. Each job withholds responsibilities and a list of duties and protocols to abide by under the necessary conditions and requires job training. The Anunnaki also has a qualification ranking system that allows each individual to have an equal opportunity to achieve each rank. The Anunnaki plays Matchmaking and really enjoyable customs. The Anunnaki has a really huge and impressive HQ that was built around security purposes with a total of 44 callouts. Everything The Anunnaki does is for each member in the clan to have a protective, fun, and involved ultimate gaming experience in Halo 4, respectfully. I recently published a book called Worlds for Throng. Its been a long-time fantasy of mine to see this as either a video game, movie, or both. I'll post the plot synopsis so you can get a sense of what it is, then I'll get more in-depth: Just-graduated journalist major Timothy Crowling is assigned his first story, and heads into it eagerly, unaware of the pawn-like position he's been forced into as part of one of the grandest schemes humanity's ever attempted: five prestigious individuals assigned to save Earth from an incoming meteor decide humanity is already a dead race. Desperate to free themselves from it, they develop a synthetic planet with the intent of shuttling the good men and women of the world there to restart humanity. The five all have different ideas of how this Utopia should run, and those clashing ideas quickly turn to factions. In essence, it’s a caricature on where we’re headed, why, and how to stop it. Now, I imagine the campaign of the game starting about 2/3 into the book when the "five prestigious individuals" start putting together the shuttle that'll take them to their synthetic planet. This would be a classic, militaristic fps with a lot of cinematic, fast-paced action and sort of a secret agent, FBI feel at times. Halfway through, it would turn into a more futuristic, ridiculous action-packed shooter. The kind of action that's more like fast-paced dancing than fighting. I would want to take the dialogue and the plot from the book and work off that directly for the game. Essentially recreate each chapter for each level in the game. The player would switch off between the five main characters, similar to GTA V. I have a real life actor each of the five main characters would be modeled after, similar to the L4D series. I'm also a musical composer and have written sort of a mock-score for the story. If this were to happen, I could score it myself, if that would be okay. Obviously this would be a huge project and this is ridiculous to ask and put on a forum; I know that. The game would be incredibly emotional and philosophical, the action tied to the emotions of the story and the characters and their situation. It would be a familiar but refreshing and incredible experience, I think, if done right. I also have ideas for a multiplayer for it which would have slayer and death match and a character that you create, customize and level-up, among other things similar to Spartan Ops, but a versus-mode Spartan Ops. I could get into that another time maybe, if this miraculously gets picked up. Obviously this has been a fantasy of mine for some time and I genuinely believe it could be great. If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to ask. I don't know how to contact 343 directly. I figured this website was a good start.
