Hi, I realize that this is kind of late and I'm sure all of you at 343 have gotten a lot of questions regarding the specialization codes. I received a message with a promo code for Halo 4 but at the time I didn't have the game. As it turns out, my parents had preordered the game for me as a gift. When I received Halo 4 as a present for my birthday, the message with the promo code had self deleted from my Xbox account. If there is any way that you could resend the code or contact me and tell me the code, I would greatly appreciate it because I would like to use it. Thank you.

The answer: very ridiculous. I'm getting fed up with all the drama and inconveniences related to this game since I purchased it. First, it was that I only had a 4 GB HardDrive and couldn't install multiplayer, then all the server issues, and now this. I understand that 343 wants to be "neat" and "cool" by having a specialization code to allow you to access other parts of the game... however, just like you did... I paid money for the game. It's silly that I spend money on a game and I can't even access all of the features without this "Free Gift" that they are offering. It's certainly not free, and can hardly be considered a gift since it cost $60 and the time and effort of the 1000s of people who are trying to retrieve their missing code. Also, this is coming from a company who didn't give out an instruction booklet because they are "eco friendly." Of course, we all know that's not the real reason... the real reason is because they want to utilize every penny that they can. However, this specialization code is costing much more than those instruction booklets ever could have cost (I remind you, the codes could have been placed in the instruction booklet, with an access restriction until Nov. 30th). I called XBox and they are flooded with calls from people not receiving their codes, the forums are flooded, and all the subsequent entities forums are flooded... all over a simple code that allows us access to the game that we paid for. I know it's too late for anything to be done, but I am posting this message because I hope that somebody from 343 reads this message and thinks to themselves "wow, she is right, that was really dumb of us, it won't happen again." -
Hey guys I received my spec code yesterday and I as I was standing up to write the code down my controller hit the floor which caused it to delete my code :wallbash: I also searched my email in hopes that maybe there would be one in there as a backup or something, but unfortunately there wasn't. I had hoped that maybe there was a way to retrieve my lost code or get the same one resent to my messages. Thanks Hope to hear some feedback

I was wondering if anyone has information on who I can contact to help me with receiving my specialization code. I meet all the requirements to get the code and did not receive it via e-mail or in a Xbox live message. I contacted Xbox live support but they do not have the ability to give my the code since it is given out by 343 Industry. I appreciate anyone who reads and helps me with this issue! *I checked my spam folder as well, I am not a noob! Cheers!

i received an email from xbox telling me i had a gift but every time i try to open it it wont load. what should i do? please help

I just contacted a Microsoft agent with the screen name Bianca. She was super nice and informed me that there were many people just like me who still have not received their code. I met all requirements for the initial emailing out of codes and missed the messaging out of codes to Gamertags today. She said that 343 would still continue to review and try to make this right. Her telling me this didn't quell my need for the code, I am still very upset and would like a code as much or more than some, but I am tired of whining and complaining. She suggested that I come here and repost my current situation. I just hope they are able to resolve all of this sooner rather than later. Would love to advance and keep playing with my friends before their interest fizzles out. Does anyone know for sure that they are done distributing codes, or are we still operating on here-say still?
