A new report has surfaced showing that major game developer and publisher Konami abuses and mistreats its employees and staff. Konami is a major game development and publishing company that is famous for multiple legendary titles like Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania. Lately, the company has come under fire for multiple business decisions such as the confrontations with Hideo Kojima, it's mobile game focus, and mistreatment of both its franchisees and employees. A new report from GameSpot.com showcases employee abuse in the company. Insider reports show that staff of Konami are not allowed to use personal emails, and require emails using a collection of numbers and letters, being changed every few months. Even worse, lunch breaks are tied to cards, and when an employer goes past this time, they are publically ousted and shamed in the company. Cameras are also littered around the building to monitor employee activity and assure they are doing their required jobs. Employees who are not seen as fit to expectation will be forced other trivial work, such as cleaning and security guard duty. Along with the information of employee abuse, other development details were listed, such as the monetary amount being poured into this year's Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and the cancellation of two other franchises. Konami has not responded as of yet to the allocations. View attachment: mgsv.jpg All images and information from Konami and GameSpot.

Alrighty everyone, we all know about the infamous Staff vs Members Event. Which the Staff actually won this round. Yes, believe it or not. Anyways, I have managed to Twitch Stream the event, some of you watched it. Majority of you did not. So you may have seen some of this already. Anyways, I will be posting down all 7 Parts of the event. Twitch doesn't do one full video upload, so we'll have to suffice with one video ending, and having to play another. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I was the only one recording. Thank you for watching and all for attending! As some of you may know I am now in charge of the forum Youtube channel and I really want to breathe some life back into it and help get the members involved as well! This is what leads me to my question what would YOU like to see on the Youtube channel? Of course it has to be gaming related(I mean it's not like we're a gaming forum or anything) If you don't already know some awesome projects coming to the channel are: Community Event Funtage, and Podcasts. I am also interested in exploring the possibility of featuring member created videos on there too. As for getting the members more involved. Well if you want to be in the Funtage my best advice is to attend Staff/Member hosted playdates as someone will no doubt be recording(Usually me but I won't even mention it) . I am also considering the idea of a machinima made by the whole forum! I look forward to great 2014 with the forum and hope you guys get involved too. If you have any ideas please leave them below! If you don't want to share it you could always PM me. Also don't forget our super cool Dog is helping with communications too so give him a round of applause as well Also you haven't already please subscribe to the forum youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/343iCommunity You get a cool award if you do!

First of all this isn't a goodbye thread. I am not leaving you guys, think of it as time I need things to get done and I'll still be on here, just not as much. There is stuff in real life that needs attending time and I am having a hard time balancing that, Halo 4 and these forums. This site is amazing and all of you make it this way. Of course, the Admin, Moderators and Staff do their part but the real people that make this site is everyone besides them. All we did is help the best we can for all of you. Without any of you, there would be no site, there would be no improvements to the site, there will be nothing but a husk of a site that failed. I want you all to appreciate one another, we are all the same, Admin, Moderators and Staff and of course... Members! I have served as Staff for quite some time and I am proud to have done so. It's just my time to retire for the time being, I say time being because I hope to return to this site and do news once again. I do not like the feeling of retiring and leaving a hole in the site but I must guys, my life needs to move forward in many ways right now. I wish the site well for finding person(s) to take my role as News Group Staff. I do wish them well on this role, it's the hardest one to do, I assure you but most rewarding. Hope to join this person(s) later on and continue doing what I love -- news. With that, I end this little retirement thread. I love you all, I mean that. Thank you all for showing support over my time as Staff, guy guys/girls are awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WqKJJrY6AM

Hello there! You may know that console gaming never has and will never cover some of the amazing aspects covered by PC gaming. That's why I'm proposing a department dedicated to get members on "Steam", a free software which is like Skype, you can chat, voice or typing with a bunch of people; you can shop for PC games at a low price, it's like a hub for PC users. Of course, people who thought buying an Apple computer was a good idea can download the Apple version. PC Games can be sold for a beautifully low price, the new "Dawnguard" was reduced to £11.50 at release, that'll cost £40 on console; why not PC game? There's a wide variety of PC games that we would like this community to connect; from Steam games to non-Steam games. New to PC gaming? Want to try it? PC gaming offers a mature community; people who PC game use teamwork that's extremely rare to find in console games; PC games have loads of fun games that never get tedious, unlike some console games. There's Arma II, if you want an actual realistic war game that requires teamwork to win; it's a lot more fun than a standard console game where you all run out in a disorganised fashion, fighting free for all in team games. Here's a clip of a bunch of PC gamers playing Arma II. There's still plenty of joking around, lots of fun instead of constant cursing you'll find on console games. ** Warning, contains infrequent innapropiate language ** Of course, if you're not interested in PC gaming in itself, you can still use Steam to communicate via PC. This is just a petition for you to vote on wherever you think it's something that members should be able to enjoy; there's plenty to enjoy, no saying you have to use Steam at all.
