Hello fellow halo players, Me and a lot of other players are getting banned by the loss of my connection to the server, when nothing seems to be wrong with my internet connection after having had contact with my internet provider. Because I never had with any other games, issues like this, it seems unlikely to me its my internet, it's already open NAT-type (see here). This problem occurs almost always after a played match and therefore I must sometimes wait inbetween matches for a period of time because I am afraid to be banned again. (not sure if that helped). It is therefore unfortunate that halo 5 can not distinguish between dropping out of the match or connection loss. The ban is becoming longer and longer and am afraid for my xbox live reputation / account. I've recently also got myself banned because of ending a campaign mission, how is that even possible? (see here) I've been posting around everywhere, but get little to no help. I need help and I do not mean the xbox live support help page that makes me none the wiser. Let's hope this problem will get more attention when it gets around. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, JxGlenn video Link 1: video Link 2:

So, here is my main issue with Halo 4. During many different game types (usually CTF) I can get betrayed on average about 3-5 times before I can get an option to boot someone. However, if I were to retaliate and betray those same people, I get Booted for one betrayal. So, why can these people sit here an intentionally betray me countless times before I get an option to boot, but if I were to betray them, I get booted on Betrayal? How is that fair? Also, has anyone else had this problem? >Pic unrelated, just a picture of one of my cats.

So apparently we don't deserve to have the same gaming experience as everyone else? Even if we've been massive fans of the franchise all-along, eh? That seems a bit unfair, and a great way to alienate your audience. Not to mention the fact that it's been called an 'incentive'. Perhaps no-one at 343 knows the definition of incentive, allow me to clarify; "A thing that motivates or encourages someone to do something" We have to know about it first... you know... If I'd known that I'd only be able to play half as much of the online multiplayer as everyone else, I probably would've sold old games. But here I was thinking that they'd actually release it soon afterwards. Hate to be the pariah here, but Bungie would never have done this, guys. :/

I dont follow forums, and i didnt take the time to see if there was another thread regarding this issue obviously. However, i decided for once to post on the forums in the hopes that 343 will somehow receive this message. WAY TO FAIL 343! Ive followed halo since its origination on XBOX. Its the game that made me want the console to begin with. Although the campaign was very good, the multiplayer in halo 4 is just rediculous. To start with: 1. The bolt shot is the biggest POS in the game. Whats the point in having an ordinance weapon shotgun when you can just spawn with a gun thats more powerful? If anythign it should have been more like the mauler form halo 3. 1 shot+melee. Intseadits 'turn the corner F you.' 2. Promethian vision is like a cheating mans dream come true? Where is the skill in anticipating where your opponent is? 2.5 Promethian vision + bolt shot = the biggest wuss combo. 3. when youre getting shot at...isnt that the time you WANT TO RUN AWAY!? So why in the world do bullets prevent you form running/moving? Especially when you have shields up! Froma realistic stand point ok i can see it stopping your movement speed if you have no shields and its physically hurting you but not when you have a shield up. 4. Theres no ranking system AT ALL, so how can you think to have a competition to begin with? theres no standard for how you should play and be judged. How you choose to decide who the best players in this rediculous excuse of an "infinity challenge" is beyond me. Players who use the cheapest sets of perks and weapons are rewarded while those who have skill are punished because they dont wish to participate in cheap tactics. 5. Spawning; It is unnecessary to spawn enemy opponents within 10 yards of a player. The maps are big enough and complex enough to be able to spawn a player in a safe area out of harms way. FIX IT! Stop with this Bull harkey spawning out in the middle of a map where every enemy can instantly just turn and shoot you. Some people CARE about their K/D spreads! 6. Ordinance weapons!? Really? Ok Call of duty! Instead of air strikes and nukes you give players rocket cannons and extra ammo in them if they have the perk for it. 7. Fix the matchmaking team finder! Its bad enough there are so many bad players in this game that dont even know how to hold a controller, dont put players in games where theyre already losing with no chance of a win because of their incompetence. 8. making an automatic weapon just as powerful from far away as a precision weapon is the biggest mistake youve ever made. Why not just have 1 single gun as the primary gun then? Being able to kill someone from far away before they can even 4 shot you in the face makes precision weapons irrelevant mostly. Overall i was excited for the game. At times i still have tons of fun. I try really hard to overlook how much youve sold halo out to be like COD to bring in more gamers. But something has got to change or be fixed. For the readers who come across this, i know im coming off ignorant, and i have skill in the game. I heep a fairly positive KD spread with a goal of always trying to at the least keep it at twice as many kills than deaths. So i know what im doing, im not just a badkid whos mad because i suck.

Nothing, NOTHING is more annoying in this game than the stupid join in progress feature. If I want to play Halo 4 then I want to start of fair and end fair, not start a game being outnumbered 2 to 5, being spawncamped and having a 100-500 score difference as soon as I start the game. I'm a good player and have a relatively positive K/D but I don't want that unfairly lowered because Our team are getting practically R@ped by some idiot with an Incineration Cannon. Either 343 dumps this stupid "addition" or I quit playing Matchmaking.

I created this forum to express my concern for the weapon balancing in game. I'm pretty sure you've heard this quite a bit, but I'm just going to come out and say it - the DMR is overpowered compared to any of the other guns in the starting weapon category, not to mention the underpower of my favorite weapon, the carbine. When the game was being created, I was very excited that I could throw Reach behind, because of the simple fact that the only weapon ever used in the game was the DMR. I'm not saying that this game is becoming Reach, and it's far from it, but I'm just a little worried about this unbalance. With all due respect, this needs to be fixed, because it's not very fun playing a match where everyone is using the same weapon, and I'm getting instantly killed with less than a second to react. I really hope that a solution is being formulated, and that this problem will be fixed in the very near future. I mean no disrespect to anyone or any member of the 343 team, and I just hope this will be observed. Shady

Hey guys i need help on somthing, i got this error msg (The Xbox LIVE Account: ****** has reached the maximum limit of 200 Double XP Matches for the promotion period. No more Double XP Matches may be applied to this Xbox LIVE Account) and i have yet to use any double xp, i need a number for calling but i do not know wich to call, 343 or mtn dew or doritos. Can anyone tell me why this glitch ocured? Beacuse i havent even played 200 matches yet in all, and i havent applyd any of my codes intill now ( and i only have 17)

I created an account here soley to put at least some kind of protest to this apparent credit cap. I bought a ton of Doritos getting ready for the 200 games of double xp. I finally get a night free after having class for 2 days after launch and play the crap out of the awesome new Regicide playlist. 6 hours later, after having completed a few campaign challenges and grinding out War Games, I lose the ability to earn credits. Lame as hell. Get to SR-30 and BAM! I have a precious 4 hours before I have to go to class again, and I'm not allowed to progress my rank. 343, you guys made an amazing game and the multiplayer is great. But please fix this credit restriction. At least create a better system that differentiates between boosters and grinders... because this sucks. Thx -Kinetic

A Possible Solution to the "unfair", Halo: Reach Booting System. (Before I go into depth explaining the possible solution that I have thought about I would like to say that it is only my personal opinion, that is backed up by what I have heard other players commentate about. Feel free to post any additions or any constructive criticism). For example: The system in Halo: Reach is a tad bit random. Many people have said they have gotten betrayed twice, then they go to betray the guy who killed them out of sheer frustration and get booted. This is just a mere example as to why people think that the booting system in Halo: Reach is at times unfair. I don't think that 343i will be introducing a new update to Halo: Reach to fix this problem, as they are already using Bungie's booting system for Reach, and are in the process of producing Halo 4. So far, this problem seems a little out of hand to some players desperately looking to 343i to answer their cry for help for a better booting system. I find this to be the case because there is no artificial intelligence to monitor the game and see if a betrayal was accidental or not. Now, I think that we are definitely far from having artificial intelligence monitor all of our games ... Never the less, I find the system to be at times, indeed, unfair. I think a possible solution here is present. Having a system like Battlefield 3 (but tweaked just a little bit), where players have the option to "forgive", or "punish". Please forgive the idea of Halo following another game, but I think that this is a very plausible solution at hand. I think that in order for players to be booted from a game, they should have the whole team vote either forgive, or punish. This allows some more leeway for an accidental betrayal so if the team mate that you killed by accident decides to be irrational and boot you for an accidental kill, he/she no longer has the power to do so, now the whole team has a say in whether or not your betrayal seems fit for a kick, or a forgive. I can see some problems occurring with this, like people abusing the system to their advantage so they can betray somebody over and over again without getting kicked but I think maybe a limit of say 10 kills should be implemented, (let's be realistic, who has ever gotten 10 accidental betrayals in a game?). Other problems like that might arise, but I still have great faith in the Halo community and I see problems like that to be very minuscule, because of all the rational and sensible Halo players out there. Anyways, thanks for listening to me blabber on about this whole topic. Please feel free to share your opinions and ideas with me. Thanks, -MaGIIXz Edit: Okay, Definitely three betrayals would be enough for the game to boot you. Thanks for the feedback guys!
