Halo 4 title update released with exploit and gameplay fixes

Update: I have been briefly successful with redownloading my "specialization priority alpha" code but it mysteriously goes away a short time later. I have also noticed that all my previous halo avatar award items have been deleted and I'm not sure if I can recover them. Not sure who to contact (if anyone) for help with these matters? Any suggestions?

Update: Thanks to the guys at xbox forums for advice. Cleared the system cache and have recovered all avatar award items for all users on console and (at least for the moment) have cleared up "specialization priority alpha" problems for 1 of 2 users. Hope it helps.

Yeah I too have had all my specializations disappear after the update. Guess i'm not playing anymore multiplayer until it fixes. Weak

I have the same issue as barguy.

WHY DID I LOSE MY ENTIRE PROGRESS?!

I lost my campaign progress, avatar stuff, loadouts, armor and it even reset my settings so now im not inverted. Why did this happen? There is no resolve, im convinced.

It saves when you turn on halo, soooo boom, it saves over your original save.

Guess I wont be playing this game ever again. I lost my entire progress!

Im so angry. Ive bought every halo and love this franchise, but this makes me no longer want to participate. So, 343, how did you manage to screw this one up?! Ready for the hate wave of fans who lost all of their progress? Im very sad and angry.

This happened to me just over an hour ago, lost my entire campaign progress(coop and solo).

I really dont want to play the multiplayer untill something is done about the boltshot. I thought the patch would fix the boltshot, make it less over powered, but it didnt

i had the infinity actual kit (the preorder stuff) and then when i downloaded the title update i still had everything except my specialisations, i had already completed 2 of the extra 6 so i was level 70 but now i can only do my default ones with the game. so i can only get too level 90, all because of this stupid patch. And i can only hope that this is fixed soon because redownloading and all of that kind of stuff is not working to fix it.

yes. why we dont get this damn code? this is really sad i played since lunch and i get rank 70 today but now i have no motivation to play further or can i get the code??

redowload alpha priorty code

update and you have your specialisations back

I live in Australia and my infinity actual kit which had war games map pass isn't working and it's because of that stupid patch so i also lost my specialisations as well. SO BECAUSE ONLY A PART OF THE COMMUNITY WAS CONSIDERED I LOSE WHAT I PAYED EXTRA FOR AND IT HAPPENED TO ALL MY FRIENDS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me i wasted $100, the warpass was suppose to include all future map packs but i still can't play on the new ones unless i waste another 800 credit. what gives >

When are you going to release a regular Slayer free for all/Rumble Pit instead of god awful regicide you guys really screwed up, why dont you make playlists with multiple gametypes instead of singling out eachgametype with its own playlist, And why are you takeing playlists out that people clearly want to play like snipers is this fun for you? screwing around with the halo community you guys got it good makeing a game that sells itself and you couldnt do the simplest tasks 343i is the worst thing to happen to halo hands down.

I hope that they fix the Drop Recon mod soon. It's weirdly broken for me. I can't equip it during gameplay for some reason.

My specialization priority alpha was deleteed in the update and when I redownload it doesn't work, all my loadouts were deleted, and my Halo 3 ODST avatar prop was deleted and is unrecoverable! WHY?????????????????

343 I respect and admire your developing prowess. No one can argue that you haven't made one kick *** game. BUT I have just realised after struggling through the campaign on legendary I am not to be awarded the armor that I have fought for because I played online. This has to be fixed! No where in the commendations does it say you must play online! Please, i am not alone with this problem.
