Screech
Microsoft has finally heard the community's cries and decided to release a Kinect-free Xbox One! The console will retail at $399 (the same price as the PS4) and will start shipping in a little less than a month, on Monday June 9th!! Hopefully this will allow more people to make the shift from the Xbox 360 over to the Xbox One, in addition to helping Microsoft catch up to Sony in hardware sales (the PS4 has sold 3 million more units than the XB1 to date). Any of you guys going to go out and buy a Kinect-free XB1 on June 9th?! I already have one and personally believe the Kinect is an important part of the console and its user interface (some might disagree) so I don't feel cheated by the price drop. Elite
236.98 pounds sterling on 14/05/2014. I'm sure, like everything tech-ish in Britain, it'll probably cost £300-399 and will not be the same cheap price as in the US (everything even related to a computer costs sometimes up to four times as much in Britain than the States). So, no, this little currency exchange rip off isn't going to work unless it is actually £237 for UK. Even then Kinect is probably going to be very useful in games itself, the only time I'll consider getting an Xbox One is if Halo 5 is promising, then both at the same time with Kinect in a total of £300 maximum because I don't see a promising line-up.
