Destroyaaa
I remember beating Halo 3 a few years ago and truly believing that this was it. My favorite franchise had come to and end, and I was okay with it. Sure they made ODST and Reach which were great campaigns, but never did I think the main storyline would continue. It amazes me that this story is actually going to continue and I still cant wrap my mind around it.
Silvi i Be
Seriously? lol Never fazed me. I knew they would was just a matter of when. It will be surreal for me when November comes around!
Smokin Shadowz
I figured it would, way to much money to be made off of the HALO name for it not to continue.
Dahly
If they hadn't put the Legendary ending at the end of Halo 3, and just killed off the chief, I could see how one could come to believe the story arc was over. But you don't put that kind of stuff in there without the intentions of bringing it back at some point.
miniamp
I can kinda relate, after I found out of the legendary ending, I kinda figured it would happen, but after 5 years, it feels kinda weird that it's REALLY happening now, yanno? BBright
I figured it would be a matter of time, and that it would come at a price (other than the $65.01). Like Smokin Shadowz said it's just a matter of money but so far I'm pleased with the direction of H4.
Violin Spider
To me it appears a bit surreal, but consider that this is a new trilogy (Halo 4-5-6), the Forerunner's trilogy, so expect things will change from the classic trilogy. Silvi i Be
Of course they are doing it for the money! LOL i wish people made video games for pure compation, or they joy of making everything perfect. But sadly you don't see that anymore. Just keep on adding more junk to make everyone happy, or user friendly as possible.
Archangel Tyrael
I knew there was gonna be another halo trilogy. Just by how halo 3 ended. I was right.
Violin Spider
And there will surely come another trilogies (7-8-9)(10-11-12)(etc...)
Tomakazi
I mean lets be honest...the point of creating a video game is to make money. With the amount of success there was with the original trilogy, they saw a good opportunity to get more by creating more games. Its that simple. They'll keep creating Halo games as long as they still have people willing to buy them.

Yep, but bungie thought differently and I figured they would stop the trilogy just to preserve the epicness. 343i is continuing the game, not bungie, so thats why its surreal to me. Spectrum
I'm finding it to be very surreal at the moment, but that's probably from all the glue sniffing, as I'm currently finding my chair very surreal. In all seriousness though, I knew it was going to happen eventually ever since the Legendary Planet (now known as Requiem) appeared. It's slightly surreal, but in all honesty, I'm more impatient than anything else.

They didnt need to continue the story, they could have left it up to speculation.
