MCPO Mayh3m
When last we celebrated this annual milestone with you, our little company was marking twenty years of making kick a** games. Since then, the cantankerous adolescent that gave the world Halo (and a bunch of other games too numerous to name here) has grown to become an even more fiercely independent adult – one with even bolder ambitions, like showing up for work well before the crack of 10 AM. Our towering aspirations cannot be tackled by our seasoned ranks alone. The Bungie team has been infused with new blood in the form of fresh faces that we enticed from some of the brightest and most successful corners of the entertainment industry – as well as from the Bungie community itself. The walls of our new studio are bursting at the seams with new faces, their monitors exploding with technical and artistic talent that makes us weep when we gaze into the screens. And we're still on the hunt for more kick-a** developers to aid us in our quest for world domination. We're thinking we might be closer than we've ever been before. Despite the new layer of muscle and increased mental capacity, our bones are still very much the same. This legion of newbies – industry veterans by any other standard – work alongside our oldest and most grizzled ancients. Contrary to some pernicious forum chatter, our creative core still shines as brightly as it ever has. We still grip lightning in our fists. If you make us, we will still kick your a**. But enough about us. This is not the time for us to elaborate on our work in progress, either. You’ve already been treated to 27-pages of the most unexpected and innovative marketing since I Love Bees. Bungie Day is a celebration. It’s like our version of Independence Day, only we eat twice as many hotdogs and you don’t have to wear a shirt with a flag on it to get in on the action. We’ve got all the party favors you need right here. Today is our time to give, not to show and tell. This is a party, and we have some gifts to get you in the mood. Bungie.net forum avatars have been added to your virtual wardrobe. Go try ‘em on. Your favorite gadget can even join in the fun with some festive new wallpaper. If you crave fresh threads for your back, the Bungie Store has been loaded with bold new swag. This isn't just about your impeccable fashion sense, either. Profits from your purchase will help kids in need through the Bungie Foundation. You'll be helping us put a smile on a deserving face. http://www.bungie.ne...pnews&cid=32142 EDIT: If this has been posted, please lock and delete as I did not see anything else.
