Mountaindew
The clinking and clanking sounds of the armor is too weak. Grenade throws, players hitting the ground, grenades hitting metal surfaces, spartans running... All of these sounds are more in line with someone wearing light weight armor, it has a cheap aluminum/plastic sound to it. I have played every single Halo game ever released. Spartans are supposed to be heavy and heavily armored. Their footsteps and movements would have more of a heavy bass to them, reflecting thier weight and thick armor. A more intimidating sound than a constant lightweight clickety clackety while running. The damage indicator around the reticule when taking fire from enemies shows the player what direction the enemy is shooting from. The damage indicator becomes too much of a dark red possibly obscuring your view of the enemy that you have in your sights. The indicator should be more of a transparent red so as not to obscure the players line of sight. The edges of the indicator are so clearly visible that when activated a rectangular block keeps popping up on screen. So if the color was more transparent and there was more of a fading effect on the edges of it, the player would still know the direction of enemy fire but the indicator would not be so intrusive upon the players line of sight and obscure the otherwise great graphics of the game that I have seen so far. Smokin Shadowz
They are redoing the sound affect for Halo 4, even using live recordings of reloads weapon firing from different classes of weapons to make the game audio sound even better. Kurt S-501
Also, you have to remember the game isn't finished yet. we still have months before it hit's shelfs.
SatanicBagels
The sounds you're referring to are probably just placeholders for the time being as the two posts above me have already stated. Welcome to our wonderful little corner of the internet though.
WonderWombat
Actually Spartans make little to no sound while moving. I don't remember what book it says this in though, Fall of Reach maybe.
