Victory Element
Most people have probably seen infinity slayer gameplay videos, and i thought of something that could possibly cause problems protaining to the weapon drops. I dont know if all of the halo 4 maps will have outdoor environments, but what if you are in an indoor area of a map and and try to call in a weapon drop on your location? Would the weapon drops come through the ceiling or not come at all? Would you have to call them in an outdoor area?If the drops cant be done in indoor areas, its probably a matter of being realistic. but what if a map is entirely indoors? If anyone can answer anyof my questions, it would be good to know details about this subject
Ryu♥Hayabusa
I'm sure they will come through the ceiling. They may even have a decal that lets you see through to the sky where it popped in. I mean, it would suck if it was like CoD care packages. Stupid ceilings.
Maximum Clutch
Well seeing how to maps are just holograms projected by the unsc infinity, and the weapon drops are dropped by the ship itself, im sure the drops will have no problem just falling through the hologram. P-1609
I've seen, in Adrift, which is an almost completely indoors map, that when MLG players call in for Ordnance, it just magically appears in front of them
DerpWithAGun
It doesn't necessarily 'drop' from the Infinity. It teleports.

Mr Biggles
We will have to see. i think it would make more sense to put it outdoor, and if indoor you deserve to suffer, because, you're just camping really waiting for the ordinance. upton889
I gotta wait and see before I say anything about the weapon ordnance drops. It reminds me of care packages but I gotta play first. I don't think it'll affect the game too much though.

You seem to forget that 2 out of the 3 maps we've seen are indoors. And just because you are indoors on a map that has both indoor and outdoor combat areas does not mean that you're camping. I'm Glad To see some people notice that ordinance drop is similar to care packages in COD, Care Packages were awarded to players for earning kill streaks, they helped to keep the good players on top and the bad players below, creating an unfair advantage for the more experienced players, Ordinance drop will have a similar effect

I was never a fan of care packages myself. I guess I should say I "hope" it doesn't affect the gameplay too much. The key to Halo 4 being great is getting the Halo gameplay balanced again. If that happens everything will fall into place.
DoctorB77
I thinly they just teleport. It doesn't seem that they actually fall from the sky.
VinWarrior
In Indoor Maps it will teleport through and outdoor maps they fall from the sky, hmm I think I just discovered a new cause of death, the ordance drop can land on you and kill you. SatanicBagels
War Games are large holographic combat simulators. It would just go through as others have said in posts above.
Victory Element
War Games are large holographic combat simulators. It would just go through as others have said in posts above. in reality they are holograohic simulators, but when you are actually playing in a game, the objects around you have solid properties like a real battlefield. why would spartans be trained in an unrealistic battlefield where weapons just teleport or fall thorugh bildings?? I guess im thinking this thorugh to seriously..... it probably just teleports indoors because it cant be like a cod care package
