Pelicans

Im just wondering if there are going to be pelicans in halo 4? im tired of using 1000 off forge just to build one.

It has not been confirmed whether they will be available or not. In my opinion I don't see this happening though.

 

Also this should probably be put in the Halo 4 subforum down a little lower.

I don't think so, but hopefully its pretty pointless since we already have passenger vehicles

Yes that would be nice to have instead of building them. But also if it doesn't come to forge then i want to have them in campaine for driving.

I really do hope we can spawn at least one. Maybe we could spawn one pelican, and one phantom. I don't know. It would be very cool though.

Why not finally give us the resources to create a full out aerial battle? Or at least let us have a REAL dropship. Instead of the letdown in Halo: Reach.

it would be great if they ended up in halo 4 forge mode, but it most likely wont happen. Maybe we will have an easter egg like the one on New Alexandria where you can drive a pelican or phantom

If we have pelicans more people will buy Halo 4, have you saw how many topics are on pelicans on Halo 4

 

And it would be better if we could forge vultures and be able to piolt them.

I don't see a full-scale Pelican happening, but something like a Passenger Falcon (4 riders + driver instead of driver + 2 gunners) would be awesome!

We saw hornets in Halo universe time after falcons so it is more likely to have hornets than falcons for consistency.

if 343i ever adds pelicans, phantoms, or mamoths into forge, then they will make the fan community so happy. It will also make machinimas a lot more realistic

probably pointless having a ship that carries 12 people. It would be fairly strong, but would only have real use in LARGE maps with lots of people. Which still wouldnt be that practical

Even on 64 player BF3 maps a transport ship like that wouldn't be practical for deploying troops.

It'd be cool if like in team matches when you first spawn, since I believe your entire team spawns in the same general area(?) that it shows the pelican flying away from that spot. Or if in a future halo game they could incorporate it into a kill streak? Just some thoughts. (Not trying to make it more COD-like or anything, but the Pelican could use more than just a little campaign spotlight)

Why do people keep expecting Pelicans to be in every new Halo game? Since it hasn't been flyable in any of the games as of yet (except the hidden glitch) I don't see how it would be in this one. Maybe when the next gen Xbox comes out, it might be able to handle a fully controllable Pelican with passenger seats.
