Archangel Tyrael
For those of you who have been wondering about the playtime for Borderlands 2, a recent strategy guide runthrough of the campaign clocked in at 58 hours, according to Gearbox Software marketing VP Steve Gibson in a chat with Gamerzines (via Polygon). That's with one character. There are four in the game, and a fifth to be gotten as a pre-order bonus or DLC. "We look at it as a hobby, and that isn't even counting the new Badass Points system and how that'll affect every character you do," Gibson said. As you might have read in our recent Borderlands 2preview, the Badass Points system allows players to apply profile-wide skill enhancements to all characters for completing various challenges. "We want it to feel like you get more for your money," Gibson added. "We're happy for people to pay their money once and feel that they get ongoing value."
