D-Wade Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 I love playing Minecraft on the PC especially since I'm out of the country right now I need something to do on my off days. But ever since I download the Windows 8 Preview (Windows 8 Release Preview, Evaluation copy, Build 8400) I've tried everything on every video and nothing seems to work for me. My laptop is an Acer brand computer and I'm currently running version 1.2.5 on Minecraft (full version and paid, not cracked). Any help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lazmarr Posted August 1, 2012 Report Share Posted August 1, 2012 Just to let you know as you are using an evaluation OS, not a complete OS, the windows 8 pre-releases don't support Open-GL. The graphics card manufacturers would have to release drivers for the version of Win 8 you are using, which they won't until the full retail OS is released. Hope I helped.
