Gamertag change?

Sorry if this already has a thread. I looked all over the internet and here but couldn't seem to find the answer. My problem is changing my old gamertag on the site to my new one. Can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance!

Go into Profile, then click edit profile, then there should be a Xbox GamerTag in your contact info scroll down to the bottom then change it.

Here, your GT, or your Windows live account?

With here follow Mr. Payne's advice.

With your GT, you will have to pay 800MP and to do it you go into your account from your dashboard.

with your Window Live account, same as your changing your GT, but the email remains the same.

I have already changed my gamertag in contact info. When I go to my Halo Reach stats it shows my old tag and will not let me change it at all.

Yes in the my settings section is where i want to edit it not in my profile under contact info.
