Reticle bloom must die!!!!

I really think Halo 4 needs to be reticle bloom FREE! I mean come its understandable in halo reach because back then the weapons weren't as advanced nor were the Spartans wielding them. But Halo CE and on, things advance and there's no need for this annoyance. Playin Halo CE-3 I and everyone I know love the fact that there was no reticle bloom, I mean it plays in to the fact that you're a super soldier and adds to the fun for me. When I played Halo Reach I was simply annoyed at the fact that I had to "Time my shots" Like I said before its ok in Reach, but really it needs to be taken out in Halo 4. I know most Halo fans will agree. It's very annoying. And if they want a more traditional Halo feel than 343 really needs to kill reticle bloom.

While bloom is annoying for high-rof weapons, it's not a 'problem'. Yeah, slightly lower bloom would be neato, but removing altogether will make precision weapons (DMR, BR, Carbine) wayyy more effective and would require rebalancing of all the other guns. H4 seems to be shaping up to a more precision/longer-range game than previous Halos, and removing bloom would render other guns useless.

Also, zero reticle bloom has nothing to do with being a super-soldier, it's based off of the gun, not how powerful you are :P (though you could make the argument that if you're a huge powerful soldier you'd be able to hold the gun more steady) it's part of the game and ther is a 99.9% that it will not be removed.

Bloom has been in every game.

Also, the bloom on the DMR is also for long range, and that is how it should be.

Bloom has been in every Halo game, so stop being a n00b and you wont have to worry about it.

. It has nothing to do with me being a noob. Its the fact that halo has always been a shoot the hell out of the enemy game. And reticle bloom takes away from that. Compare Halo 3s AR to reaches l, you didn't have the crappy reticle bloom and it made it so much better.

@Maximum Clutch: There is no need to call someone a noob for airing their personal opinions on a subject.

Yes there has been bloom in every Halo game to date, however it was not visible by the player until Reach. I agree that bloom needs to remain in the games. However, I do think that single fire weapons like the BR/DMR do not need bloom, but high ROF weapons do such as the AR.

I agree with this. DMR/BR/Carbine have fixed max fire rates, bloom forces you to not shoot the gun at the max fire rate because it becomes quite innacurate.

AR-esque weapons should have bloom, but I believe the AR bloom in Reach was a bit high.

I never understood the concept of bloom. It tries to simulate recoil when they could easily produce real recoil by making the reticle rise during sustained fire (like the SMG in Halo 2). That way the player could manually counteract this by pushing down on the stick and staying on target, instead of leaving up to blind luck where your shots go.

I don't know why this hasn't been done.

There's going to be recoil on the DMR, so yes, it is BEING done.

Bloom HAS NOT been in every Halo game. Bloom is how the reticle expands, not the bullet spread. Sure, there has been a little bullet spread, but no where near on the scale of Halo Reach. The Spartans in Reach have the accuracy of a dead fetus.

Well, it is nearly gone in Halo 4. Besides, with it nearly gone, it will likely be just like in previous halo games, just visible.
