Equipment or Armor Abilities

Do you prefer equipment (such as the Powerdrain, Bubble Shield, Health Regenerator etc. from Halo 3), or Armor Abilities (such as Sprint, Jetpack, Invisiblilty etc. from Halo Reach)?

well i like both but both are the exact the same IMO only difference in H3 its pickup and there ar for one use only per person

I prefer the Halo 3 system of equipment. I don't like the idea of adding elements of luck and chance to a competitive multi-player game when they could just as easily add AA's in the same way they did H3 equipment.

The same thing for me. Spawning with a power is kind of cheap. And EVERYONE gets one.

i feel the opposite way. I like the fact that your armor abilites recharge, so its not just a one and done situation like with equipment. You also dont have to go hunt them down like you do for weapons, but i am a very big fan of the power drain

they're both alright with me. I liked using the flare when I was at my last resort to get away. I also liked when people were fooled by hologram... amused me so much.

Equipment all day. I would rather have players pick up equipment that spawns in a certain amount of time than for someone to have abilities at their disposal at all times. When it's equipment, you only have one, so you have to know when and where to use it. And at least with the bubble shield and shield regen they weren't completely invulnverable and could still be killed so it wasn't a huge advantage.

i prefer equipment. There was nothing better in my opinion. a whole team of players camping with shotguns and camo, or sprint and sword is not how the game should be played. Sure i could do that too but then the game becomes tacky and boring and just drags out. Bring back the 1 on 1 duels and team shooting and rely less on one minute of camo every 30 seconds. Thats what i would like to see.

I agree. Equipment is better because it is strategically placed in the map, you only use it once, so it's much more strategic, and doesn't completely dominate the gameplay

I dislike both as game play choices, but both naked since to what the game is. I would prefer specific game play playlists to have them, and others to not, same with sprint.
