Minecraft Money.

Just curious as to what the people of the forum use as money in Minecraft on the Xbox 360. Also I would like to know why.

 

I use flint as money. I use it because it has no use that is absolutely needed. Yes, I know it can be used to make Flint & steel and arrows, but arrows can be gathered from skeletons while flint and steel last for a good amount of time.

 

A lot of people use Iron, Gold, or Diamonds as money, I think that isn't a good form of currency for the reason that those resources are useful for tools, armor, rails, etc. Why use useful materials when you have practically useless materials.

 

To sum it up:

 

Flint = easy to get and not very useful = good currency.

 

Iron/Gold/Diamonds = Useful, less common = not-so-good-currency.

Makes sense with the update and all, but I'm talking about on the X-box edition

I normally trade items instead of using money, but when I do use money, it's golden nuggets. Those were added in the 1.8.2 update, right?
