halo
In the halo 4 teaser trailer in E3 2011 master chief had a jet pack on his back it looks like it is built into his armor. Will the jet pack be in halo 4 but in a different style like how it shows in the teaser trailer and will it be like a built in armor ability like sprint in halo 4? Well possibly not but it looks like it to me. But it would be nice if the jet pack would be in halo 4 because it would make the game faster like getting to places faster. My opinion about it is to bring it back. (343 possibly added it but didn't show it in E3, RTX and comic-con but just in case i made this topic.) Ryu♥Hayabusa
No, jet pack is an Armor Ability. It is kind of like the Reach jet pack, but this one has a LOT less juice. It is pretty much just a boost.
Mr Biggles
The Thruster Pack is Like evade.
Sikslik7
Yes, The jetpack is returning in Halo 4. The "jetpack" in the teaser trailer is the armor's stabilizers fo zero gravity areas. There is also the Booster pack which s being introduced in Halo 4. It is similar to evade, but has some different mechanics.
Stealth Pilot
The ability MC used in the teaser was technically a thruster pack...just used differently than when gravity is influencing it.
skullyhelm
Almost reminds me of Tribes or Planetside. Not comparing those to Halo but I'm glad the jet pack or thruster pack was added back in
