DoomsEveryone22
I dont get why that is. I mean all you can do is hit someone with your gun if they get close and if they were to add more techniques they could make it a load out. Stealth Pilot
In the split second it takes to release that you need to use CQC, you should be swinging your fists, not reaching for a knife. Assassinating however, there is not as much of a rush, so you have time to use your knife. Kicking would be nice...THIS IS SPARTA!!!
SykoWolf
Id like to see some more techniques, but not over the top karate or anything like that.
36-2071 Pragmatic Avarice
It would unfortunately break the balance of fair limitations, what with running out of ammo and such. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have fist fighting but it'd be a secondary gametype all its own if you were enabled exaggerated fisticuff combat.
Ryu♥Hayabusa
Look up Halo 2's first E3 gameplay vid. They had combo-melee's. Didn't work out too well for some reason. Point is, if someone is camping in a small cut out, you can walk by, they have you down in one second.

But if 343i ever did put it in a halo game, it would probably deal the same damage as a regular melee
DoomsEveryone22
thanks everyone I just wanted wanted to see the rare throw or disarm in a game it would look good in theater mode. Assassinating however, there is not as much of a rush, so you have time to use your knife. Kicking would be nice...THIS IS SPARTA!!! someone put up a video on youtube of an elite kicking a spartan on top of the spire.Off said spire Look up Halo 2's first E3 gameplay vid. Yeah and a way of countering that load out would have to be added In as well. I just post this question without a question mark after seeing halo legends and clips from halo wars. Id like to see some more techniques, but not over the top karate or anything like that. It would be funny to see everyone running around karate choping each other It would look like minecraft. But if 343i ever did put it in a halo game, it would probably deal the same damage as a regular melee That would ruin the game for so many reasons. Which is why adding them in isn't a good idea.
