Tallgeese
Technically there are more than 60 ranks. 1-50 initial ranks, and 1-10 ranks for each Specialization. But yeah nice vid
P-1609
Gotta hate that people are still comparing this to CoD.
Tallgeese
@P-1609: Why? Specializations after the initial 50 levels is indeed similar, but not the same as Prestiging in CoD. Loadouts are also similar but not the same as CoD. Many aspects in Halo 4 are similar to those in CoD. But really CoD took those same aspects from previous games. So if it makes Halo better, by all means go for it 343i. The comparisons to CoD are legitimate, being upset that people are comparing is not needed.
Destroyaaa
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THANK GOD THERES A # SYSTEM But on a serious note, they did the right thing. Now is this system based on each playlist or an overall rank? And how do you rank up is it just by wins?
Sierra1117
It would be 130 levels, 50 + 10(. But I'm glad that it's only 10 levels per specialization becaus dive never pstiged in call of duty because I didn't want to go over 50+ levels, but now it seems like splitting it up into 10 would make it feel like your progressing much faster. twistedforsaken
Alot of people who have played the mp have said some aspects do feel like cod but they are the few good things that cod has
Tallgeese
Has it been confirmed that once you finish the 1-50 and 1-10 for your first Specialization that you also have to go through 1-50 again to be able to choose another Specialization? Or is it just 1-50 once and 1-10 for each specialization after that?
Destroyaaa
That video doesn't explain a lot now that i think about it
Tallgeese
Absolute Dog confirmed that you only have to go through the first 1-50 levels once and than each Specialization 91-10) after that. You DO NOT have to go through 1-50 after each Specialization again and again.
Ryu♥Hayabusa
I thought the Specializations were just like a separate level that go up as you use them? That has nothing to do with your real rank? Oh, yeah, I wouldn't get giddy about numbered ranks yet. Two reasons, only you can see them, and this isn't really confirmation that they are numbered. It just confirms that there are 50 ranks. We have already seen that the ranks are just like Reach's in that they aren't numbered. Maybe there will be a number in Parenthesis that shows what numbered level you are? One more thing, I love the Rogue Specialization armor. It actually goes together for once. Past Halo games failed at matching the armor. -.-
Tallgeese
@Ryu: After you finish the initial 1-50 levels, you can choose which Specialization you want to level up in, in each Spec is 10 levels, throughout the 10 levels you unlock armor, skins, weapon skins, and a MOD for that Spec. When you finish one SPec, you can choose to level up another. And so on

Tallgeese
Exactly Ryu, instead of just trying to reach top rank, now there is a purpose beyond
