i must say gears of wars because i almost cried (if it had been less peoples in the room when the scene come i had cried) it was mostly because of the song (mad world-gary jules) the song was also in Gears of wars 1 launch trailer

Even though I really love halo and gears comes 2nd but I think dons death was the saddest because marcus lost a really close friend and the song that was playing during his death wow just thinking about make me want to tear up

I never saw Dom's death because i don't play GoW, but Johnson's death was really sad so i voted for that

I voted Dom's death. He was like a brother to Marcus and they've been through hell and back together.

That is the same here; we had become emotionally attached to Dominic Santiago throughout the entire Gears of War series, and his death was an unprecedented one. The thing that topped it off, was the music as you stated: we heard this song at the opening release of Gears of War.

 

I didn't vote, as I cannot rate which death was more sad; both deaths were sad. I loved both characters in the games and seeing them go was very sad indeed. You cannot put a number on there deaths, nor their death scene. They did what they did best and they died doing it, if only we were so lucky.

Johnson was cool and it was very sad and touching to lose such a great solider such as him, but Dom's death was even sadder for me cause he was Marcus's brother in arms and blood. To watch your last remaining known family member go up in flames as sacrifice for you and your friends to escape.
