Quail Checkers
What is 343 Industries doing to stop farming credits? I mean I was recently playing grifball and the team held out the game as much as they could and they had a guy on our team betraying us, i mean, they all had at least one assassination; the whole thing was just ugly. Then I played another game of grifball and idk what happened there, but I switched to swat and lo and behold another group of people farming using a new account on our team to walk around and get killed. These two incidents back to back like that has nearly ruined reach for me, so I want to know, what is 343 industries doing to prevent it? The Director
There is a system in place that catches people doing this and bans them. I am willing to bet that the ones you met in Griffball can either no longer earn credits, or can no longer connect to matchmaking. Probably the same in Swat as well. While this stops people from boosting, it doesn't PREVENT them from boosting. However, if people reported players that boosted, then there would be far fewer boosters around. Count Quacula
This isn't 343's official site, sounded kind of like you thought it was from your post. Anyways, credits don't really mean anything, so no one really cares if any has an absurd amount of them. They were more likely just trying to get their stats higher or have fun winning a game easily than get a bunch of credits, which is something you just have to accept when people have the options to both betray their teammates and search with 5 people in a 4v4 playlist. I agree that behavior like this is a problem, but there's not a whole lot that can be done short of removing betrayals, which is almost an integral part of Halo, and not letting you search with more people than is allowed in a team. I would normally offer a suggestion as to what you could do differently to not get paired with these people, but I don't have anything to say. Thanks for your concern though. Yay But yeah, 343i have realised most of the farming techniques going on and have put a stop to them. Also, its only credits, it doesn't make a huge difference to the game , no need to worry
