DaikonBlade Posted August 21, 2012 Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 Even though Halo 4 will be released in two month, I still believe I should address this concept which could help sooth the concerns from the community. Lately, there have been quite a few forums where the fans of the old-school halo can't help but be in distress over load-outs and armor abilities which have been shown on Reach. Now, I have been a huge fan of the Halo franchise for a big portion of my life and playing Halo Reach never changed that, however I still find myself looming towards wanting to play Halo 3 again. Well, that was until the Anniversary dlc came out for Reach as well as a playlist in Matchmaking which included classic slayer. You probably know where I am getting at. I personally don't mind load-outs and armor abilities but I think it would be great if we fans can choose if we want to play that way or not. Here is 2 things you can provide for the old-school players. 1. A separate matchmaking playlist where armor abilities and load-outs are disabled (with all maps provided) 2. A option for custom game types (enabling and disabling of load outs and armor abilities) Sure, placing spawn points for every weapon, for every map will be a chore for you. I get it. But by doing so, you will be welcoming every fan of the halo franchise, new and old. Also keep up with the good work 343, I know you won't let me down!
