longshot5901
Me and my friends were playing halo reach in a custom game, after i was playing i wondered, " What if when your driver dies and you are in the passenger seat you can switch over into the driver seat, or turret (if nobody is in the turret) if anybody has any further ideas about this please post it below. (if i stole anyones idea, i am sorry) thank you!
FaKamis
Perhaps by using the d-pad? Though it isn't too difficult to switch seats it can be annoying sometimes.
mACca431
I think this would work really well in game especially with a cool animation
Victory Element
it would help a lot if you were in a vehicle like a warthog, but it wouldnt work well with some others. Take the falcon as an example. The gunner cant just hop into cockpit while the vehicle is in free fall........ it would be pretty BA, but it just wont happen
Real Talk
Good idea it would help people in vehicles like a warthog not be sitting ducks for like 6 seconds when the driver eats to many bullets. Could be the difference between life and a rocket.
Ins4nek1ll4
yeah this is a great idea, imagine it your driver dies, and you quickly need to get out of your enemies base, your spartan hops over the t-bar and drives away, or your man in the turret dies and you need firepower, you jump out holding onto the side then climb on the turret
Real Talk
Now that I think about it there should be an option for the flag carrier to place the flag on the vehicle. You know like a special holster in the vehicle. That way the flag wont drop when the flag carrier gets a shot to the face.
Rooster Teeth
Oh I cant remember what game does it but yeah they should allow you to jump into the other seat.
DoctorB77
That is an amazing idea! I would love to see this!!!
mACca431
Oh I cant remember what game does it but yeah they should allow you to jump into the other seat. Probably star wars battlefront
N@han FloreZ
maybe spartans are too hefty (fat) to squeeze through that rail dividing the seats
mACca431
maybe spartans are too hefty (fat) to squeeze through that rail dividing the seats possibly but they are still agile enough to jump over
dinodares
Good idea. it would be great but maybe for halo 5 ?
FerretOfAir
This would be very, very useful and worth the time and effort of implementing it. It's a small thing, but small things that improve the flow of the game can be icing on the cake.
Jezzertle26
it's a good idea but, it will just make the vehicles over powered, how, well the whole point in even shooting at the driver, or the gunner is to cripple the warthog, if they had this abiltiy then people would load up the warthog, and use it to there advantage, examples, you kill the driver, it the vehicle stops, yet the passanger is able to switch and get the gunner out of the fire, same thing for the turret guy, he dies then passenger (badd spelling) loads up mid drive, and that warthog is back and up again, trust me it seems good now but will get fricking annoying later
Tallgeese
Sounds like a pretty cool idea. As some of the others have stated some vehicles it wouldnt work well in like the Falcon or Hornet. But ground type vehicles seem like it could work, revanent, warthog, scorpion, wraith. use of the d-pad would be pretty sweet.
Jezzertle26
yeah i just realized that no body looks at the balance of things, you all want this but you can see that bad sides, look for the good and bad of all things.
Hellbringer 241
Pretty cool idea, it would add some more dynamic into the game, although switching from driver to passenger/gunner in reach isn't too hard, it's just annoying. But yes, I think that would be a good idea for land vehicles, it just would be appropriate for a gunner to switch to a pilot, or the other way around.
