Vehicle Skins

I had this idea of having the skins for some vehicles be changeable. An example would be how in Halo 3 on Avalanche, the UNSC vehicles where snow/arctic themed. This,I think, would be very cool to be able to change the skins to the mongoose, warthog, scorpion, falcon, and any other new Halo 4 vehicles kind of like how you could choose the object colors in Halo Reach. Some skins could be default, forest, desert, arctic/snow, or odst themed (black). So what do you think?

And the arctic Warthogs were friggin' awesome. I loved that map.

Do that is such a good idea. It would make forging cool if you could do that with all objects like all the buildings and stuff. Wow

First off congrats you got 6 likes off of one post. I have to say i am a bit jealous. Any way that would be a very good idea and like SykoWolf said it would be great for machinamas.

When does/did the game go gold? I really hope this has been brought up before, or they've seen this post by now. It'd be a relatively simple application that could really add to the aesthetic aspect to the game. Plus, I think some members have wanted this for quite a while.

Brilliantly idea good sir. That would be a very useful feature for Machinimas, specific themed forge maps and would add yet another aspect to the game to keep players interested. I'm not aware whether you're the first to come up with this, but if you are, congratulations on such an amazing idea. It sure seems to have paid off in likes, all of which you deserve!

Skins seem like they might include that in the forge. They did say that there will be 3 unique forging environments, so maybe at least a different vehicle skin for every environment. That's the least of what could be expected, great idea! =)

If we still can't put our guns down like in halo 2 why would they do anything else for machinima. Good idea but it would take a decent amount of time that could be spent on new maps
