Introducing...the FLAGNUM!!!!

New to Halo 4 CTF (Capture the Flag) there is a unique weapon...the flagnum! This spectacular combination of UNSC developement and in-the-field implementation results in...the amazing ability to dual wield both a flag and a weapon, specifically the .45 magnum! If you break down the words to the root, and then combine them (scientifically of course), you get [flag-num (flag derived from flag, num derived from mag-NUM)]...THE FLAGNUM!!!

i like the fact that we can now defend ourselves from a distance now when carrying the flag. I only wish that whatever secondary weapon we have in our loadout is what we hold when we carry the flag (boltshot, pp, magnum)

Apparenlty the Magnum you pull out of nowhere when picking up the flag, is slightly more powerful then magnum you would normally pick up

Incorrect, it is not slightly more powerful, it does however have unlimited ammo, so you can spray away and reload to your hearts content. Add unlimited ammo to the scoping capability of the magnum could make it more powerful, but the damage is the same.

this will be really weird......especially if your secondary in your loadout is a PP.

I agree Victory, I really wish if I had the PP or Boltshot that that would be the weapon I carry when carrying the flag.

It wasn't in the pax game build but in the latest halo bulletin (5 September) it says they are still tuning it and hope to give it a slight damage boost

yes I did read that as well in the Halo bulletin, now whether or not they do that is a different story. If they do indeed do that, than the pistiol would not make any sense. A regualr pistol on its own, and than a super pistol paired with the flag...too inconsistent.

I doubt it would be a super pistol only slightly better and there are many variants of the magnum some are more powerful than others

There are variants of the magnum, but not in Halo 4, there is no silenced magnum in War Games, there is only the magnum in war games. Why would a spartan carry a regular magnum for single wielding, and than flip out another "super" magnum for when he carries a flag? it doesnt make any sense.
