Try loading other maps, missions, etc. It it keeps happening or gets worse (ie other maps as well) you need to 1, get a new disc, 2, fix your disc, or 3, download the game from your disc (sometimes works if scratch isn't thatbad) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The same thing happened to me, to the point were I could only play the ff map waterfront. I was able to download it to my Xbox with my scratched disc. The harddrive can load the data into itself (and I'm not sure but I think it also takes a backup from XBLA to prevent corruption) and then can play it from itself. Get new disc Or you can rent a newer disc from a store that offers game rentals for as little as a dollar a day (return it the same day lol) and use that.
