uca deceiver
make halo 4 have a map editor like "farcry 2" i can almost promise them with a map editor like that alone would get more people on halo. you can add rivers, mountains, trees, weather, snow, oceans, and of course buildings and other things that halo would have like walls, etc. but its needed! Fire
Welcome to the site, that would be very useful and awesome but I don't know if it would be possible.
uca deceiver
why is it not possible?
Fire
Isn't Far Cry 2 a single player game?
uca deceiver
yes but still it'd be better to make your own ENTIRE map
Fire
True but the map editor puts ALOT of stress on the game when you are playing on that map. Now multiply that by 16 for multiplayer and the servers. Sounds awesome
uca deceiver
ok well atleast take forge world or something like it and let us add terrain like mountains and snow. that alone would be nice
Fire
Are the mountains a background or playable terrain

To whom is this addressed? I hope not to 343i, as no one from or representing 343i is a member on this site.

Fire
The mountains would be difficult to program and would not fit inside the maps available (most likely)

JMCooper20
The mountains would be difficult to program and would not fit inside the maps available (most likely) I don't get what you mean because I've got far cry and it is really simple to use and everything fits in the map and also you can make the mountains from scratch. :|
The Hitchenator
Halo isn't Farcry, it runs on a different game engine, so they have limited the map space to allow for the other awesome stuff like the multiplayer, Farcry has a bigger map creator because it doesn't have all the extra settings and modes, i doubt that 343 would be able to fit all that on one disc, but maybe there could be a different disk for the forge world, that way your idea could work, but i doubt that will happen.
