Echo
In halo reach they let you use the Mark VI helmet (chiefs helmet in halo 2 and 3) but they put a white stripe on the top... preventing me from having a solid color. It annoyed me SOOOO much. Is that forceful stripe still there? Any pics?
Chewin3
Looks like it.
Cahill Rebel
I wish that would go with the Spartan's overall color scheme like how the ODST helmet's stripe did in Reach.
FerretOfAir
Chewin, that white stripe on the Mark V1 picture might have just been part of that Spartan's color scheme, seeing as other highlights of his armor are white as well. This means that, while there is still a stripe, it might correspond to your secondary or ternary color (Which you can adjust so it appears you have a solid color). I personally hope this is the case.

I think you are right...so you could do green primary and green secondary and hopefully not have the stripe...we shall see
36-2071 Pragmatic Avarice
Isn't that middle part a different component made of another material? White stripe looks like some enamel of sorts.
Ventus
Looks like it's either a stripe for the secondary color, or just the lighting making it look weird. We'll just have to wait and see!
iTz Vplus2
Whichever it is, i won't mind I hope it's secondary color though
