JetFalcon Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 So I am trying to get some Sol Republics tracks (retails $99.99) and the guy wants $65 for them. He claims he has opened the box just to try them on and they did not fit him well. But I tried them at Best Buy and I know the fit is good for me. And still felt comfortable as a demo model tried on by many people. So for one guy to try them on for maybe like 5 minutes and realize it wasn't gonna work out, it should be fine. I want a good headphone as I am going on a trip soon and would like to finally get some good headphones for once. And Sol Rep are very reasonably price even at full retail and they are way more comfortable than the Beats that retail $300. I could get new ones, but I love saving money anywhere I can. But I also hear there can be fakes so I would like to know if there's anyway to protect myself from that. I assume if I have him meet me at Best Buy so I can try the store demo ones and then try his right after, I can see if there's anything that doesn't sound right. If you are a bit unsure you should buy it fr.om retail. I personally would buy it retail. Where are ypu buying these from if you are getting them for 65. So assuming a guy like him can afford an iPad maybe he is legit? And he's in no rush to sell it because on Sunday, he said he needed to wait until Wednesday which is today. And he did not get back to me so he is in no rush to get rid of it. I only know Beats headphones are famous for having fakes because I saw a guy on CL selling a Lamborghini edition which does not exist in the real product line. But I haven't been keeping in touch with him and I may flake on it. I kind of want these Soul by Ludacris as on amazon the premium SL300 that retail $300 are like $183 on Amazon.
