So 343 is doing pretty good so far but they might not have made my list yet. Anybody else think they shouldn't have given master chiefs armor such a different look?

At first, i didn't like it because it made no sense, but then i learned about the whole nano-bot things that upgrade armour during cryo..

I still think it should look much closer t the original MK VI, that armour is iconic. I DO love how they left the dent in his chest plate though.

 

As for that doing "pretty good" i would say decent, they are doing a decent job.

Halo should always keep the classic armors in stock but I like the new armor looks as well.

I like what they have done at the moment, Still not keen on a few of the armour types but i'm glad they have included recon again .

 

They have put master cheif's battlescars on his armour which makes it looks more realistic and considering they have never released a game before they're doing a fantastic job.

Change is good! People ask for the same armour but when the game comes out the same people will complain about how they look to similar. Imo a new developer means thing will be different. It's how they stick to halo but make it feel fresh(like a 60$ game should feel) will determine if they succeed or not.

343i are doing okay, but the online is terrible, the game types are ****, spawn trapping is too easy, there isn't SWAT, grifball and team snipers, I mean come on 343 the online is a joke.

Judging by your post you are leading people to believe that you have read the books. If this is the case then you would have read about the ancient human civilization so you should be able to answer your own question there.

 

As far as the canon goes, this game was much more in-line with the canon that the books fleshed out for the Halo Universe so at least in my point of view, they haven't really messed up anything.

 

As for the nano-bot thing, I can't remember any reference in Halo 4 that says this (probably because in my sleep deprived state it went over my head or whatnot) but it's something that I could accept I guess however I'd probably have to read more into wherever this reference is made so until then, I'll reserve judgement.
