New Legendary Logo

Hey guys

I was just checking out some random halo 4 pics when i came across something that i didn't like at all.

A new Legendary symbol.

I have attached it here, tell me what you think.

Looks like a Forerunner skull to me. Fits in fine.

Looks like a forerunner /promethean skull. Makes sense to me to change the emblem, in the previous games the main enemy was the Covie and they were mainly represented by the Elites. So with the new series being against the prometheans/forerunners, it makes sense to have the symbol represented by them.

If it's suppose to be the skull of a Promethean, then I love it. I like that they took that into consideration before just putting the Elite skull in there.

 

Normally I hate changes to iconic symbols like that, but with a new trilogy/enemy comes new stuff.

Definitely makes sense, but it seems too bland to be in Halo 4; I'd think that it would be much more advanced/sharper like Forerunner constructs and architecture.

Lol, you beat me to my thought! I would have to agree 100% with Tallgeese's statement. With the loss of the Elites, it would only make sense to replace the Legendary logo which their faces adorned.

I, for some reason, really, really don't like it. At all. Haha, I have no idea why. I don't know if it's because it's just too different, but to me, it doesn't feel very 'Halo'.

Right but in the old trilogy we faced the covie and their main recognition came through either the grunts or elites, so the elite was chosen as the legendary symbol due to their tough nature. Now we do face the covie once again, but the new threat fo this troilogy is the prometheans, thus the forerunner skull is now representing the legendary symbol.

I like it more than the previous one. I wouldn't care if it had no link to the prometheans or covie. I think it looks sleek and cool and if you don't agree.. well too bad.

Seems legit, looks a bit like forerunner and we're not dealing with the covenant mainly anymore i mean they're in the game yes but the main enemy seen here are the forerunners.

Seems interesting, though it should have added the three stars; as the heroic has two, and normal difficulty has one. It makes a bit of sense really, now that the enemy is the forerunners and a forerunner skull is befitting.

I don't really care but I did like the older one.
