Flippant Sol
Exported November 2012, Issue 235 has lot to cover about the upcoming sequel to Dead Island, Dead Island: Riptide from the five games under the radar. This news has surely brought the request for the news group. I didn't like to read straight out of the game mags, so I search this title on what we call "the web". I found a teaser on IGN, and that's it, so here it is: http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/09/18/dead-island-riptide-cgi-trailer I hope this sheds some light on the tragedy such a game can bring to us... TECH
You know. This game will not affect Halo 4, since the genre is totally different.
ISTRAFED UP0NI
So tired of people talking bout different genre games not effecting each other. Half the people in the world will get ONE new game this holiday season, not all of them! However, this "dead island" will have no effect on Halo 4s sales. Flippant Sol
ahem, but this is the Other Games section, remember?
TECH
ahem, but this is the Other Games section, remember? Yeah but your first post sounded like it was referring to Halo 4. You said "I hope this sheds some light on the tragedy this game can bring us..." like it would affect Halo 4 somehow.
Ender Wiggin
Halo is one of those IPs that sells itself. Like Final Fantasy. FF hasn't been able to live up to the expectations it (successfully) lived up to during the PS1 era, yet it still sells well. So I doubt there's really anything to worry about, especially not from Dead Island. I'd be more concerned about the amount of people who choose Black Ops 2 over Halo 4. But even then, I'm personally not concerned. H4 will do good regardless.
