VEF214
Curious to see how people like to forge. I am very much a lone forger, I like to have complete control of my projects. I take other views into consideration, but if I make changes, I make them. I rarely let other people forge with me, but when I do, it's for a less serious project that I don't have as much attachment to. If I do let another person help work with me on a serious project, I have to trust them 100% and most likely know them in real life, and I'll still inspect each change they make for myself. What about you?
NJL
I like to forge on my own. That way its my own work no one else' you take the time and dedication and you feel proud when its done. When someone else works with it, it doesnt feel like your own or the same as if it was just you doing it.
PureNomad
Lone but I'm really interested in getting into a forge group for 4, if for nothing else to help play test others creations and get pov from other guys on my own.
NJL
If you have a clan though and like you wanna make a big map or like just something mind blowing to everyone, you can have a team of forgers in a sense if the one person cant forge well and just like have the person observe while the work is being done. thats possible too right? Twisted Oracle
I forge alone because if you create something really good people will try to take all the credit
Jezzertle26
i forge by myself alot, but i when ever i have skilled forge friends who will actual help my map, and give me constructive critizism, but if its some annoying person, who can only kill in halo, then yeah i wont play with them
Tommy Girl
I always forge alone because when I've forged with others I'd place hidden crap around their map and when they said they were saving I'd delete something LOL! Also forging alone gives me more time to myself to think.
Real Talk
Depends on the situation. I am not a big forger I usually get tired of building something by myself. But if its something I actually want to make I will only forge with people I know wont delete random stuff or just will not get in the way. Fishy
I forge alone, I only go in groups if I trust them. Like Tommy said as well, it gives you time to think.
Ryu♥Hayabusa
I make serious things alone. I make fun things alone. I bring friends in to make fun customs. That is all.
SykoWolf
im with Cody on this one, i always Forge alone when making proper maps, but if im just screwin around i tend to let others in, UNLESS, im doing a large project and need help with it
Kurt S-501
I usually forge alone. I find that you have a sense of accomplishment when finished. Of course, it's useful to have someone else around to do all the boring stuff.
Ike.
How can any serious forger forge in a group? It would be hard enough to seamlessly incorporate the styles of two people, let alone 4. The only way I could see this working is if you knew each other IRL and planned it out carefully. Everyone involved would have to be very good forgers. I am very precise, and few people would meet my standards. I know exactly what I'm doing, and I don't want anyone else screwing with it. Plus, the credit is all mine. I have no problem with taking advice or CC, just don't touch anything.
CatTrumpet
I'm more of a lone wolf, but sometimes it can be fun to run with the pack.
