killerdude1635
We need map pack playlists, not limit the entire community to like 2 playlists, thats not fair, thats not good for business(Future buisness.) what we need is a another Reach, where they had playlists for those specific maps, BEFORE they removed them for some ungodly reason, OR, increase the chances of coming over the maps in normal matchmaking, currently in reach, the chances of coming over a map is 0.001%. You don't want people to be forced to buy your products, you want them to buy it willingly, because if they're forced to buy it, then i can pretty much guarentee they won't be buying anything else from you. No ones limiting the entire community, just those without maps. If Reach is any indication most of those people without the maps would probably only play BTB and Team Slayer anyway, maybe add one more playlist for Infection and done. No one would be forced to buy anything. The BTB pkaylist would feature all the vanilla maps and gametypes such as CTF, Team Slayer, Dominion, Assault, VIP, Team Snipes etc. Instead of a Team Slayer only playlist it could be 4 versus 4 and consist of a mix of Oddball, Slayer and other gametypes geared towards 4x4 teams on small maps. Without a doubt Griffball would be its own seperate playlist requiring no dlc what so ever and we will not even get into MLG.

Not as many people would buy the maps as you think, in fact most of the community won't buy the maps. Also, what about infection? In Reach it's the second highest populated playlist. If you want to enjoy all of what you payed for, then yes, you are forced to buy the maps, not very good way make customer relations better. They should have Map pack playlists, Playlists that play ONLY maps from the pack they come from. - Possibly the best solution.

buffy the spartan buffalo
i think it should just be like certain DLC playlists like in reach before they took them out so it would be like: swat crimson map pack playlist.

I do not want a playlist with only DLC maps, I want it to include the vanilla maps and the DLC maps, so I can enjoy all of the content I payed for. Why do those who pay more and have the most content have to be confined to one playlist? We want to enjoy all the maps, not just the DLC. Cocoa
You set yourself up for that one. Maybe next time you should pause and take a moment to collect your thoughts. Given the whole drop in and drop out midgame aspect it will more than likely end up being as PureNomad described it.

I did not set myself up for anything, i could bet that anyone reading that would know exactly what i meant. its this smartassery that changes the meaning of things. Obviously you knew what i meant, it's just you didn't want to know, Because that one liner basically put your argument to shame.

My point still stands, nine months from now the playlist should cater to the players who have bought the DLC, it worked in Halo 3. The DLC only playlist failed in Reach.

Anthony Ryan Bonci
Wow op you are a douchbag sorry just going to say what everyone is thinking and yes if you buy the dlc then have dlc playlist dont restrict people that dont want to waste money on maps they think are horrible. Real Talk
No, it failed and got removed. It failed because not enough people played it. Which could indicate that not many people bought DLC.
killerdude1635
No, it failed and got removed. No, a playlist failing would mean the populations were literally empty like below 50 or something, but they never hit that, there was always a relevtivly high amount of people in those playlists, lower then the rest, but still not low. If you also care to explain Rumble Pit? VIP and all those other popular and fun playlists that were also removed along side the DLC playlists? Wow op you are a douchbag sorry just going to say what everyone is thinking and yes if you buy the dlc then have dlc playlist dont restrict people that dont want to waste money on maps they think are horrible. I understand where you are comming from op but you seriously sound like a douchbag Besides the insult, he has the right idea, why should the majority be punished? Its bad for buisness to piss off the majority of your customers, it could also be the company's downfall. All I'm really trying to wrap my head around, is why you 2 thinks this is such a great idea? There are MUCH better ways to be able to play your precious DLC.
Blue_Cheese
@killerdude1635 its seems like you just want to argue, video gaming is a hobby bent around spending a decent amount of money for enjoyment. not sure why you would purchase Halo 4 and not want to buy and play the new maps when they're offered. if its because of the extra cost of the map pack, then why waste money even buying Halo 4, map packs have been around since Halo 2, so nothing new. also who cares if the maps aren't all "perfect" the ones at launch usually never are either, there always seems to be a few everyone tends to veto in matchmaking. lastly give me a break, your already paying for xbox live, already bought an xbox360, and are planning to buy Halo 4, what is $30 more? stop being so confrontational just for the sake of argument. Stop being confrontational, I love that one, sorry if I don't want to buy everything 343 pumps out, I didn't buy all other previous map packs from the other few games, don't know why suddenly it's going to change, Especially since its by 343. Their previous work on the defiant map pack for reach doesn't give me much hope that any future work is gonna be better. :|

killerdude1635
why are you in this forum and why are you even buying Halo 4? Their previous map packs, namely defiant, were a serious let-down, over priced and offered very little content to be worth it. Sorry if I don't like buying over priced stuff, is it such a crime though? :/
