sindronian
Is there any way for Spartans/elites in invasion to stop re-spawning in the phase 1 spawn zones once they enter phase 2? After phase 1 the Spartans and elites spawn in the same area. The Spartans should initially spawn in that area but stop and only spawn in phase 2 areas. Is there any way? I tried blocking off the phase 1 respawn zones with rocks labelled as inv_weapons but you can just spawn ontop or inside the rock and majestically be born out of it unharmed. NJL
Thank you director.. on topic, is it possible that the spawns are like that to be fair on both sides?
sindronian
Thank you director.. on topic, is it possible that the spawns are like that to be fair on both sides? I don't really know what you mean. Basically it goes like this: Phase 1 (territories) : Elites invade a base that spartans are respawning in where elites have spawn zones seperate from the base Phase 2 (bomb) : Now, Elites have taken over the base, so spartans no longer spawn there (what I'm trying to do) but the Elites now respawn there. They take a bomb over to the next base and blow up part of the wall in front of it. Last phase is irrelevant, in phase 2 the spartans/Elites spawn in the same area and I got help from a lot of different people, none of them know how to get rid of older spawns. Once again, Phase 1 : Elites spawn away from base, spartans spawn behind and on base Phase 2 : Elites spawn away from base and on base, while spartans spawn at the second base This is what I am trying to do. It's perfectly fair.
Sikslik7
Yes, label you spawn like this under advanced settings(I take it the teams are correct) 0,1, 2, or 3 for each fire team (ie 0 is left Spartans and you want them to stay on that side during the game) same goes with 1 and 2, . 3 is a team spawn for just that phase. Under label make sure the spawn is inv_spawn_p1 for phase 1 only, if you want a universal team spawn to last for multiple rounds, use #(phase first used,) and inv_spawn. So for phase 1 spawns only, have fire team numbers (0'1'or2) and have inv_spawn_p1 then you just change the spawn phase for each phase (inv_spawn_p2, or p3) message me if you have any questions, I have a map to demonstrate this. Remember that you can only test limited numbers of spawns with less than 12 people, so to test all spawns, you need to have 6 people on each team. I have no idea what you mean. 0 is left spartans? stay on that side? Universal team spawn? It would be much easier if you just told me what to label the following: These spawn zones are for phase 1 only after 1 ends they shouldn't be options anymore. Spartans during first phase should also be able to respawn in the initial spawn zone. Red initial spawn zone: Red respawn zone: Red respawn zone 2:

Spartans during first phase should also be able to respawn in the initial spawn zone. Red initial spawn zone: Red respawn zone: Red respawn zone 2: In Boneyard, there is a left attacking team, and middle team, and a right team. These are called fireteams, and you can also respawn on the other member of your fireteam. For initial spawns use 8 regular initial spawns for each team, even if you only plan to have 6 on each team. Label: red, 0, invasion spawn Red spawns phase 1: Red respawn zone~ first fireteam (left for agruements sake): red, 0, invasion spawn p1 Red respawn zone~ second fireteam (middle team): red, 1, invasion spawn p1 Red respawn zone~ third fireteam (right team): red 2, invasion spawn p1 Red respawn zone~ for entire team : red, 3, invasion spawn p1 (only phase 1) Repeat for phases 2 and 3,(change final part to invasion spawn p2(3)) even if it is the same place, you need 2 spawn zones, other wise the whole team will be able to spawn there. To have a team spawn (ie vehicle bay) starting in phase 2 and useable in phase 3 use this: Respawn zone: red 2, invasion spawn Any questions?
sindronian
Testing them out now, thanks for all the help. No questions yet. Any questions? It works perfectly! Thank you so much! I tweaked it exactly how I want it, great invasion map (non-linear) coming soon!
