What in the hell where you thinking? Almost everyone on these forums wants it, any competing gamer wants it, anyone who doesn't suck wants it. There was no reason to ever change it. You rank up by earning a fair amount of points per game based on skill. You say every competing gamer want it? Well guess what, they have it in Halo 4. You are still paired using "skill" according to David Ellis, and Frank O'Connor said more would be revealed about the ranking system closer to launch...we still have 8 more days, I am sure it will be discussed in the final pre Halo 4 bulletin.
