Halo 4 social skills

Hello

My halo skill is low.

I havn't played in a couple years.

I want to get better but will probably only play a few times a week when I buy the halo 4 console november 7th.

When I used to play reach, I had a hard time finding like minded friends to play with.

I want to play just for fun but also be a little competitive and use the mic.

I thought joining this forum might help me make xbox live friends, or find a clan(however that works) with similar interests.

any advice? thanks
