Andy Taylor
Guys,Ive been trying to track down the number of players that can play in privately hosted games for multiplayer in the various game modes without success. Can anybody point me to wear this info is , or even let me know. is it 4v4 , 5v5 etc ? Trying to plan a game for next week with our little community and need to know when to say its full ! ( not sure if its till the case but one of the earlier Halo games switched to push to talk or proximity chat when players was over a certain number , and we hated it , so if that's still the same need to know how many before this kicks in )

Same with the match making list "Big Team Battle." That list supports 16 players as well for those who want a quick 16 player match without needing all those friends lol Also, you shouldn't need push to talk if you join a party chat through the xbox live dashboard. You can have up to 8 people in a chat so you can just have one chat for one team and one chat for the other team. and talk online or something lol I don't even think they still use push to talk.. it wasnt in reach i dont think. but then again i dont talk much unless im with friends, and my friends quit reach cause it was kinda meh :/
Andy Taylor
Thanks for the reply........Does the 8v8 cover off all game modes do you know or are some limited to smaller number of players ? Party chat is ok , but we like to mix the teams up every round in case one side is dominating and switching party chat every round is a bit of a pain. Dawn Wolf
I heard once that flood mode is limited to 10 players, but I think that meant for the playlist. I see no reason there should be a limit on customs.
Leonard L. Church
They never have limited custom games
