So I just completed the 'Win 117 Games' challenge, and right when I went to check my challenges, they all were missing. Campaign, Spartan Ops, everything. About 45 seconds later they come back, but I didn't get my 17k exp from doing the challenge. It's now marked as completed... it was also my 25th challenge and I didn't get the achievement.

So, update any suggestions would be highly appreciated as well. We have given the server issues a bit of time today by taking a break...

 

However; I can play SOMETIMES one game before it resets everything on me putting me back to an SR-1 and until I sign out and back in it stays that way. I can never seem to get past 1 match last few matches I done that way I got half way through the first match and it reset again. My fiancée' and my son were both playing on the same console and it never happened to them.

 

Does anyone know why it would do it to just mine and why signing out and back in affects it for a short time? Any tips on anything I can do to fix it or is it in fact just a server issue?

Having the same issue as many other people. I finished up the last two missions on campaighn legendary only to find out I did not get the armor because I was not connected to the servers (even though I got the achiment and was on x-box live in a party with friends) Then I went to play War Game and was level 1. Very frustrating bug!

Issue in Campaign on Heroic. Mission is Reclaimer. There is supposed to be a "large Covenant Ship" that evidently you board and do something on. The ship is not appearing, and as such, I'm stuck. I can't move forward in the mission.

 

Tried restarting the mission, reverting to save, saving and exiting the mission and going back in.

Also tried restarting the xbox.

 

Still broke. It also flashes up on my screen that the next objective is to board this ship.

EDIT:

 

Appears the issue (testing with my brothers play disc) is if you do NOT shoot down the Particle Cannon at this part of the mission. If you don't shoot it, then it disappears and the game removes the target locator from your inventory and the LCS never appears nor shoots the Mammoth. However, the mammoth will act like it did appear.

Almost sounds like some broken cache issue causing a failure to load required resources. That or similar.

 

Is the game installed on the hard drive? If so, might be worth deleting the installed game and letting it load directly from the DVD.

 

If that does nothing, it might be worth clearing the 360's file cache, in case something there has become corrupted and is blocking the loading of resources...

My Spartan Hub info is correct- shows my armor and level like it should, but when I hit X to check my party info, it shows me as SR-1, I can't join any of my friends, and can't play Spartan Ops. Even Waypoint errors for me.

I seem to have the same problem as Gustavo Marinho and a few other people above my post. I hope it gets fixed or i might just stop playing Halo 4

This is a HUGE issue. I don't get any credit for anything I do in campaign, no commendations, and I just beat the Legendary campaign on solo and did not unlock the Chief's armor. I beat over half the campaign connected to Xbox Live, yet I get absolutely no credit on my service tag for any of it.

It's one thing to not receive any commendations (even when I am connected to Xbox Live), but it's another thing to deny my profile of all records and rewards relating to my service record.

 

I'm hugely disappointed in 343 Industries, because Bungie was always such a community-oriented developer and many of the same employees are on this team. They have made such a great game in Halo 4, but have such a huge and widespread flaw in the design, yet do not offer any customer service options for contacting them about these issues.

So I can't access servers? I am SR53, and have put a lot of my time into the game for it to suddenly tell me I just can't connect to the servers and play with my friends. Also displays me as SR1 on roster. Can't search, can't join. Very frustrating. Been really hyped on Halo 4 and I kinda feel like ya'll are ******* me? some customer support would be nice...is there a number or a way to send an e-mail? Is this going to be fixed by itself or do I need to fix something.

 

What's even going on? Why can't I connect to the servers all of a sudden. My connection is solid.

 

I know nothing, am confused, and don't feel like there is a way to get 343 to help.

Been playing campaign on Legendary today and on mission 5 "Reclaimer" the Covi ship doesn't show up? The mission objectives do but there is no ship to board and no Cortana message on what to do like I have seen in the walkthroughs that are up?!?!?!?!? I have tried restarting the mission but no sucess, any fix planed for this?

Anyway I was playing Infinity Slayer on the Map Complex and it was 3v3.

 

My 2 friends and I were playing together and these 3 guys kill us 3 times and then they mysteriously disappear? So we're running all over the map and we can't find them? So my brother uses his promethian vision and see's these guys are inside the wall! So we're throwing grenades and everything at it and nothing and when we got close to the wall they could kill us! So I have 12 minutes of the guys doing this and if you've ever used file share well you can press the D-pad and see the players actually jump glitching into the walls. So I'm not entire sure as to where or how I can show this and get this video fixed?

 

The gamertag is AE7600 and it's on his fileshare and the tags for it are Cheaters , Exploiters.

OK I had never played online until I had Reach for a year, so I don't know if there where any such problems at release of reach. Can anyone confirm that? Also I have noticed that the in game glitches are getting worse instead of better. I have quit more games since Halo 4 has been out then i ever did on reach, and the only reason I ever quit is when the game becomes unplayable or there are cheaters, with lag switches and modded controllers etc. And don't tell me that modded controllers don't work on reach because I know two "ex friends" who has used them. I have already noticed people using lag switches on Halo 4. And you can tell when its happening when your gaining the advantage over the same person, and it happens again I was playing a game yesterday when the game started glitching so bad that I teleported in the ground where only my head was sticking out and a mantis was teleporting all over the map. And I finally quit when I wouldn't re spawn for 5 minutes.

I was wondering if when someone uses a lag switch that it causes a waterfall effect that screws up the whole game.

Also why can't 343 make some software that recognizes lag switches and modded controllers boots that person from the game, That would stop the cheaters quick if they couldn't play.

Also They said that if you play between Nov 6 and Nov 27 you get to choose from all the specialization, but I only got a choice of wet work and operator, I wanted to pick the one with fast track.

Anyway I have been reading theses forums and so far I haven't heard any responses from 343 employees ! I don't know whats going on but it looks like 343 is not supporting there game very well, Seems like corporate cutback greed, they know that most people are going to pay there monthly membership anyway.

 

Another thing Halo has been one of the most important events in my life I have been playing it since the first Xbox I bought that cane with it and Turok. I have always anticipated the arrival of the next Halo, so I will be really pissed if some corporate ******* screws up something so important to so many people. This would be as bad as some politician stopping the super bowl because of some political pressure from activists.

after the multiplayer update i now don't have any of my limited edition unlocks, that's armour, weapon skins, emblems and all the specialisations and my pre order bonus of armour variations, what the hell is going on? i have gone and re-downloaded through my download history and nothing has re appeared. whats the point in having a limited edition if i can use the extras i should have. i feel robbed

J'aime Halo... J'ai toujours aimé Halo. Mais alors qu'est-ce que c'est que cette blague ? Je suis à deux doigts de désintégrer mon DVD d'Halo 4 !! Un petit récapitulatif de tous les NOMBREUX problèmes :

 

- IMPOSSIBLE de lancer une campagne (offline, online, coop, solo...)...

- IMPOSSIBLE de lancer les missions du mode Spartan Ops...

- IMPOSSIBLE de lancer une partie de Matchmaking

 

==> IMPOSSIBLE de jouer à Halo 4 car à chaque fois que l'écran de chargement se lance, juste après le jeu revient à l'écran titre. HONTEUX. Honteux de ne pas pouvoir jouer à ce jeu que j'apprécie fortement (ayant dû par la force des choses aller jouer chez un ami !).

 

Si vous n'avez pas de réponse concrète à mon problème d'ici deux jours, je vais revendre ce jeu et autant que je puisse le faire, faire une très mauvaise réputation de ce jeu - et notamment de son suivi par vous, développeurs de 343 Industries - (JAMAIS aucun problème avec BUNGIE !) auprès de tous les revendeurs que je connais et sur les forums.

 

Payez 70€ pour se voir dans l'impossibilité de jouer et surtout se voir revenir à ce fichu écran titre, je trouve cela tout simplement scandaleux !

I am also having a problem with getting xp. I have played all day and gained xp but havent leveled up. My game is all glitched.

The lag on Big team has become unplayable at this stage and its getting worse in team.

 

Sad really to see a game that was getting going being slowly killed by its creators lack of interest in the issues

 

I wonder how many people have gone off playing BO2 due to this constant farcicle rubbish, MAYBE I WILL JOIN THEM.

So I can install both cds no problem, and play the campaign up to the "Requiem" mission, while loading gives me the "Game error : unreadable disc" message, then booted back to dash. Iv swapped the game twice at the store, and even tried my friends overseas copy and still the same problem in the same place so its not the cd. i have cleared the cache and re-installed several times, tried it with and without the 2mb update and still no go. other new and old games work fine (dishonored, borderlands 2) so it cant be the laser either. I see alot of others are having this issue, but im yet to find a solution. Anyone?!

I have played 4 games with double xp and i haven't received any xp not even the regular amount just for playing. For each game i play i am receiving 0 xp. PLEASE HELP!!
