I have several questions about Halo 4... HELP!

I would really appreciate if you guys could answer as many as you can.

 

A) Gameplay/Game types

1. What is the betrayal/booting system? How does it work?

2. Can you turn off join in progress?

3. Is 343 going to add new game types soon or at any point? Such as doubles, etc.

4. What is that 3D box emblem in the HUD right above the armor ability you're using?

Weapons

1. How does the scattershot work? Sometimes it makes a person dissolve, other times they simply die. Does range affect this? Does it have to be a kill shot?

2. What's the difference between a Battle Riffle and a DMR?

C) Custom Games

1. Is there a custom games lobby? If not, is there a forum dedicated to coordinating custom game play, etc?

D) Ordinance Drops

1. What initiates an ordinance drop? 5 kills? A killing spree?

2. Can you steal a teammate or enemies' ordinance drop?

Yes not sure when but they've showed off gameplay of SWAT and Grifball. so others are very likely.

4. What is that 3D box emblem in the HUD right above the armor ability you're using?

Its your progress towards the next ordinance drop. as you get points for playing it fills up and you get ordinance.

Weapons

2. What's the difference between a Battle Riffle and a DMR?

DMR is single shot and with a longer range. BR is a three round burst.

I'm not sure about the booting/betrayal system, but I was playing CTF last night and a guy ran me over in a car, it was the first time I had been betrayed all night and it gave me the option to boot him. I'm hoping it doesn't give that option the first time you betray someone every time.
