FINALLY, I've been able to play HALO 4.

I took to it right away. I'm pretty good at it. I love many things about HALO 4, especially the Mantis.

 

Just a thought. These are not complaints, for I love this game.

 

Some things I didn't like however were forge map sizes (too small), kinda hard to unlock certain armor ( a lot of them), somethings about the highlight shield, no unsc flying vehicles, some weapons that I expected should be there weren't there, and Cortana kinda looks like Katy Perry.....

 

1- Forge maps should be HUGE, not the size of ravine or exile. There is too much clutter that is not removable. I find it annoying at times having to pause for the game to "generate light" every time I exit forge mode.

 

I'm sure though that 343 will fix this in updates to come, they are fairly minor.

 

Suggestion - Please, in future updates, add more terminals for decoration!

 

 

 

2- Most armors seem to need some sort of "mastery" to achieve them. That is kinda annoying cause it seems like I have very little variety until I go through all that work for one helmet, torso piece, ect. I would lower the bar on some of them in the future.

 

 

 

3- The highlight shield is VERY useful. It has saved my life numerous times and you can move fairly quick to escape the line of fire unscathed. BUT I dislike out I can't deflect a ghost ram with it or overcharge/ ram someone at close range. I feel use less at close range with damaged health and all I can do is hope a teammate comes in and saves me. But I love the concept of a riot shield type piece of equipment.

 

 

4- No UNSC flying vehicles? ........n'uff said.

 

 

5- I was really pleased with the new weapons added to the stack of weapons of mass destruction, but was also disappointed to see some weren't there such as the plasma launcher, the needle rife, and who doesn't love the Spiker? But overall, still a very useful variety of weapons to dish out some chaos.

 

 

6- "She's hot and she's cold".

 

 

 

I was very pleased with my copy of HALO 4 in general and I think this game should receive game of the year, because , though it didn't fit the tee of what I expected, it still came out spectacular. MANTIS!

 

 

If anyone from 343 can see this (I am aware, have been for a long time, that this isn't the official 343 website) we appreciate all your hard work on HALO 4, so from the community to you, we thank you.
